00:00Now that you've spent another couple days walking around the course, seeing some guys out there
00:05practicing, range, etc., what can you tell me about what this place is actually going to look
00:11like when we start on Thursday morning? I mean, this is such an important question right now
00:16because it's almost going to be a tale of two tournaments. The first two rounds are going to
00:21play like the Oakmont we expect, like the Oakmont we saw in 2007 with Angel Cabrera when everyone
00:26was over par. It is starting to get a little crispy out here. The moisture is really coming
00:31out of the ground. We've had, you know, high clouds, nice sun, a little bit of breeze.
00:36Yesterday, today, we're going to have it tomorrow. We're going to have it on Friday. And then
00:40going into Saturday morning, Saturday day, we're looking at over the weekend, maybe close
00:46to a half an inch, maybe six-tenths of an inch of rain, not a ton of wind, not like a storm
00:51front or anything, but we're going to get a lot of moisture. We're going to get a lot
00:54of rain. So it's going to kind of change the golf course a little bit. You're going
00:57to, you're going to have a, you're going to have a choice to make. You have to adapt to
01:02this thing because the first two days are going to be super fiery and everyone is going to
01:06be so excited to watch the carnage that's about to take place.
01:11And as far as, so it's going to be like that the first two days. And then you said they're
01:14going to expect some weather over the weekend. That maybe we'll get, that could maybe give us
01:19some stops on Saturday too, right? Keith, there may be some thunder, lightning, et cetera,
01:24that causes us some minor delays, not big delays, minor delays.
01:27Mike, I think you could stay calm, right? You keep the blood pressure in check this weekend.
01:31I think it's just going to be more like a nuisance rain. It's going to be like a farmer's
01:34rain. We're going to get all day. It's going to soften things up. It's going to, you know,
01:37if you're one of those guys that likes to bet, you know, the final score, you know, everyone's
01:42talking about, you know, is it going to be under par? Is it going to be over par? They're going
01:46to finish under par because it's going to get soft over the weekend and the best players
01:50are going to be left low 60 in ties this week. One of the toughest cuts to make the weekend
01:54after 36 holes, 156 guys down to the low 60 in ties. Those guys will be the ones playing
02:00the best. Then they'll get the softest conditions. I think you'll get a couple of guys, less than
02:04a handful, but you'll get a couple of guys under par.
