▼ L'albero sacro, noto come Mihishirogi, viene utilizzato nella cerimonia dello Shikinen Sengu, che si svolge ogni 20 anni. È stato tagliato dalle montagne delle prefetture di Nagano e Gifu. ▼ The sacred tree, known as Mihishirogi, is used in the Shikinen Sengu ceremony, which takes place once every 20 years. It was cut from the mountains of Nagano and Gifu prefectures. The 6.6-metre-long tree was lowered into the Isuzu River and, in the pouring rain, a total of 300 shrine staff members clad in happi coats chanted "En'yaa" as they pulled it approximately 1.5 kilometres up the river.
