00:00Last week, we talked about position groups 10 to 6 on the Minnesota Vikings, and today

00:05we are here to rank the top 5.

00:07Let's jump right into it.

00:11Minnesota Vikings have a really deep roster, and these top 5 position groups are excellent.

00:16Let's just get right into it.

00:18The 5th best position group on this team is defensive line.

00:22Yeah, the defensive line.

00:24They added Jonathan Allen.

00:25They added Javon Hargrave.

00:27Harrison Phillips got an extension in November of last year.

00:30This is a good, good unit.

00:32Is it a great one?

00:34I wouldn't call it great, but it's very good, and they have some depth to it.

00:40Jalen Redman played well last year in less than 300 snaps.

00:43Taki Taimani was the rotational nose tackle.

00:46Levi Drake Rodriguez looked like a really good player, and Tyrion Ingram Dawkins comes in as

00:50that hybrid guy.

00:52He's basically the new Jihad Ward.

00:54So this is a very talented group that can do a lot of different things for you.

00:59I'm really excited to see what this brings and how the NASCAR package gets impacted.

01:06Number 4 is tight end.

01:07Tight end is an interesting one.

01:09You have TJ Hawkinson, who's arguably a top 5 tight end in the NFL.

01:13You have Josh Oliver, who might be the best tight end 2 in the league with his ability

01:17to play like an offensive tackle.

01:19But then 3 is not Johnny Muntz anymore.

01:21It's going to be a rookie.

01:22You have him Bartholomew, Ben Urosek, or Bryson Nesbitt.

01:26One of those guys is going to take over.

01:28How good can this group be?

01:31I don't know.

01:32But I can tell you this much.

01:34Those top 2?

01:36Lethal.

01:37That's why they rank at number 4.

01:39Number 3?

01:40Edge Rusher.

01:42Jonathan Gennard.

01:43Andrew Van Ginkle.

01:44Both Pro Bowlers last year.

01:46And then on top of that, not only did they make the Pro Bowl, but then you also have

01:52Dallas Turner, who's a first-round pick.

01:54It's a really good top 3.

01:56And then edges 4, 5, and 6.

01:58You have some intriguing pieces.

02:01You've got Tierney Ingraham-Dawkins, who I mentioned earlier, who could play out on the

02:04edge.

02:05You have Bo Richter.

02:06You have Gabe Murphy.

02:07And then you have Tyler Batty.

02:09Chaz Chambliss.

02:10Some intriguing names that you get in undrafted free agency.

02:13Who's going to vie for that final roster spot?

02:16That's going to be a really fun battle to watch in the preseason.

02:19But with defensive tackles now that can rush the passer, NASCAR package might be gone for

02:23a while.

02:24And that'll make this group even stronger.

02:27Yes, the offensive line is in the top 2.

02:30Can you believe it?

02:30It's been a long time since we've had an offensive line we've felt that strongly about.

02:35Once Christian Derrissau comes back healthy, the sky is the limit for this group.

02:38And when you have a quarterback like McCarthy who's capable of making very quick decisions

02:42and has that snappy release, things could get really interesting with the Minnesota Vikings

02:47offense.

02:48And you should be really excited about it.

02:50Speaking of offense, number one might be the position group that the Vikings are best

02:55at in their history.

02:56Well, maybe other than defensive line.

02:59Wide receiver.

03:00Justin Jefferson isn't just the best wide receiver in the National Football League.

03:03He might be its best player.

03:05He got the focus in the Madden trailer.

03:07Yes, Justin Jefferson was the focus at the beginning of the Madden 26 trailer.

03:13That's a big deal.

03:15You pair that with Jordan Addison, who's really good.

03:17Jalen Naylor looks like he could emerge as a really good wide receiver 3 and maybe price

03:20him out of Minnesota.

03:22Then you have intriguing options like Rondale Moore and Ty Felton.

03:25It's a really good roster.

03:26And receiver continues to highlight it.
