SGA 34 points, five boards, eight dimes.
00:04
As you always like to say, SGA agrees.
00:07
Stay focused, son.
00:09
You have to stay focused on the task at hand.
00:12
Now, whatever that may be for your team
00:15
and how you want to attack them or go about the game plan,
00:18
but you have to lock in and stay focused.
00:20
And even tonight, we've had some moments of slippage.
00:23
Now, you're not going to be perfect out there,
00:24
but it goes without saying,
00:27
to make it this far into the season,
00:30
it's going to take supreme level of focus to reach an ultimate goal.
00:34
And they're there to display that to the highest form.
00:36
Like, they play a full 48 minutes,
00:38
and you can't just throw the first punch.
00:41
You've got to try to throw all the punches all night.
00:44
And, yeah, that's what we did.
00:45
We threw enough punches tonight to get a W.
00:48
Listen, I agree with that because, you know,
00:50
the reality is in game one, they played about 44 minutes.
00:55
And then there was about, you know, five minutes or so
00:59
where they just didn't play and they got caught and they got beat.
01:03
It was basically the last five minutes of the game, right?
01:06
I mean, at one point, you're up, you know, 15 or whatever.
01:11
And then it was, what, seven minutes left?
01:14
And then it was down to nine, seven, whatever.
01:17
And at that point, from under 10, when they got it under single digits,
01:22
I thought the Thunder stood around and watched the Pacers beat them.
01:27
They just kept scoring and they kept coming down and hitting shots.
01:31
And then they'd go down and take a bad shot or turn it over or, you know,
01:36
make mistakes.
01:37
And I think the difference for me is that we've seen it every night is that
01:42
for the most part, the Pacers do play 48 minutes strong.
01:46
And that was the Knicks problem.
01:49
The Knicks problem was, is that they were playing 40 minutes, 40 minutes.
01:54
The game's 48 minutes.
01:55
The Knicks would play 40 minutes hard and they wouldn't play hard for eight minutes.
01:59
You could, whether it was two, two, two, and two of every quarter,
02:03
they just stopped trying.
02:04
They just took a break and then they didn't have the depth and the bench
02:09
that the Pacers have.
02:11
The Pacers go hard with whoever's out there.
02:13
They put five out, they put five in, they play hard.
02:16
And if the Thunder don't play hard for 48 minutes,
02:19
they're going to get beat by this team.
02:21
That is a legitimate playoff built winner.
02:25
The Pacers would a great coach.
02:27
I don't know how many times I got to say it.
02:29
Like they're, they're very capable of winning this and beating them.
02:34
I've always thought Hope City was better and that they would beat them.
02:37
But if anyone can do it, it's this team.
02:41
No doubt about that.
02:42
Here's to know also SGA, this guy's unbelievable.
02:46
Yeah.
02:47
Unsurprising at this point, it's just kind of what he does.
02:49
He just continues to progress and improve and rise to every occasion that he,
02:55
he puts himself in and that we put ourselves in.
02:57
Um, and I thought, you know, his floor game tonight was really, really in a great rhythm.
03:02
Um, I thought everyone played better individually and I thought we played better collectively.
03:07
And I thought that was just a byproduct.
03:08
I give the team a lot of credit because that's a long 48 hours when you lose game one like that,
03:12
coming into game two.
03:13
And the guys did a great job of just focusing on what we needed to do to stack to a win tonight.
03:18
Uh, and that's how we got it.
03:19
So that was individual players, collectively, offense, defense, everything.
03:24
I don't think that he, uh, shoots, uh, particularly well from outside, from downtown at all.
03:30
He hit one three.
03:31
That's the only part of his game that isn't, uh, crazy.
03:35
Cause the rest of his game is crazy.
03:37
He's incredible.
03:38
Uh, you know, at the top of the key end to the elbows, to the paint, uh, on the wings.
03:46
Uh, he, he gets his shot off.
03:48
He gets his space.
03:49
He finds where he wants to get his spot and then he, and he, and he makes it so, but outside
03:54
shooting isn't, I think a part of his repertoire, at least not at this point.
03:58
I think he's an MVP inside a three point line.
04:01
That's why he got the MVP so great.
04:03
Uh, and especially literally from the free throw line in, he's lethal.
