00:00Halliburton, last night we bet it, Scott, and I nearly lost because he left the game,
00:04but he's had three or more turnovers in every game in the series, all right?
00:09Like, they're a turnover machine, you're right.
00:11Matherin is reckless late in games, Nembar turns the ball over.
00:15Halliburton was horrible.
00:17But I think it's a lot, it's a little bit of the Sam Darnold seeing go stuff, Scott.
00:22I saw Halliburton talk after, like, game one about how, and game two,
00:27and about how he's never seen a defense like the Oklahoma City Thunder in his life before,
00:31and he goes, you know, you start to think that they're there even when they're not there
00:35because they're so long, and the fact is, let's give credit to the Thunder, Scott.
00:40They literally are, like, the best defensive team in, what, the last 20 years?
00:44Like, nobody plays defense like these dudes, and they're all, like, seven-footers,
00:47they all have these massive wingspans, SGA is, but you know what I'm saying,
00:52they've got a bunch of big dudes, and even dudes that aren't that big,
00:55like, Caruso doesn't quit on plays, man, like, you know what I mean?
00:58Lou Dort, like, the guy is just, like, he's like a prison guard just checking you,
01:04like, what do you got there?
01:05Oh, yeah, what do you got in your pocket there?
01:06Dort's your chamber.
01:07Yeah, exactly.
01:09He doesn't score, but trust me, when other dudes have the ball,
01:12they're like, oh, God, Dorton's in front of me.
01:14Like, it's relentless.
01:16They don't give up on plays, and it's getting to the Pacers.
01:19It is, Scott.
01:20There's no doubt about it.
01:21Turnovers were the key there, but I'm not going to sort of, like,
01:24yeah, the Pacers were reckless, but I think it's a lot to do with Oklahoma City
01:29and just the defense that they play.
01:31And how did they get back from 20 down to two?
01:35I don't know.
01:36It was a two-point game.
01:37They were in it.
01:38And then they never scored again.
01:41It was embarrassing.
01:42And would you play Halliburton when he was 0-4?
01:45He never scored in the first half after he got injured,
01:48and he went 0-6 in the game.
01:50And you kept him in when you got a guy, McConnell, who's lighting it up.
01:54Yeah, and that's rare that McConnell was giving you something offensive like that.
01:57I probably would have just rolled the dice with McConnell as well
02:01and, you know, tried to take it a little bit further
02:03and then brought Halliburton in late in the game.
02:06Because that's the whole thing.
02:06People can talk about, oh, Halliburton got hurt.
02:09As you said, Scott, the fact of the matter is, bro,
02:11he had zero points before he got hurt.
02:13I know.
02:13There are these games where he's a non-factor.
02:17And I talked about it a couple of games ago,
02:19and I brought it up on the air, and they were playing,
02:21and it was one they won the other night.
02:23You know, these games are so spread out,
02:25it's hard to remember what days they are.
02:27I don't remember last night's game.
02:29Last week, the last game.
02:31Yeah, whatever it was.
02:32Like, they play.
02:33It kills the flow of the NBA.
02:34It's a fun series, but it's so separated, like, so drawn out.
02:38But I brought up, I said, you know, Siakam will be the MVP if they win.
02:43And people are, oh, no, no, no, no.
02:45Halliburton will be the MVP.
02:47Okay, look at the odds now.
02:48Siakam's 12 to 1.
02:50Halliburton's 30 to 1, Scott.
02:51The oddsmakers are giving up on Halliburton.
02:53Yeah, I had the over with Siakam last night.
02:55He was 19 and a half.
02:56Yeah, over 19 and a half.
02:57He had 23, whatever it was.
02:59So he should have 20-plus every game.
03:02The guy, they got to give him the ball and let him do his thing.
03:05Well, the thing with Siakam, he's so consistent.
03:08So, listen, I think you and I have been sort of spelling this out the same way,
03:13maybe difference with the point spreads a little bit here and there.
03:15But I think the Pacers have one more left in them, Scott.
03:19I think they're resilient enough.
03:20They're not going to roll over.
03:22You just said it.
03:23But despite all the effing mistakes that they made and on the road,
03:27let's be real, too.
03:28The Oklahoma City Thunder, they get, like, incredible Hulk strength at home.
03:32They're now 10-2 straight up at home.
03:35So they've actually lost twice, okay.
03:37And both times, it was like a miracle buzzer shot.
03:39So they've lost at the buzzer twice on their home court.
03:42So that's the only way you're going to get them.
03:44And give credit to the Pacers.
03:45They came back, and then Oklahoma City just did not run.
03:48I mean, it was 95-93.
03:50The next thing you knew, it was, like, 110-97.
