00:00This has been the theme for the Pacers in this magical postseason run.
00:03They have now pulled off a miraculous comeback at least once in all four of
00:09their series throughout this postseason.
00:11We know what Indiana did, trailing by 15 points with nine and a half minutes
00:16remaining in regulation, trailing by nine with 239 left in regulation, to win by
00:22one, 111-110, courtesy of another game winner from Tyrese Halliburton in the
00:27clutch. My question to you is how does Indiana keep pulling this off?
00:33To quote my students, what the Hallie? I don't know what is happening.
00:38And maybe this has been, I don't know if this is a team of destiny.
00:42I don't know if they get every break in the world.
00:44I don't care because at the end of the day, I saw an interesting tweet this
00:49morning, right? The Thunder had 18 less turnovers, took three more free throws,
00:5415 more shots within four feet of the basket, had three less fouls, 15 point
01:01lead in the fourth quarter. The best player in the world arguably has 38 points
01:04and you lose at home. Like if I'm a coach and you told me all of that information,
01:10this is what I'm going to get out of my team. I'm saying, we won by 20.
01:15Like it was a, it was a walk in the park, but it's coaching. And it's the fact that this
01:21guy, Carlisle continues. I keep saying this getting guys to believe and to believe. And
01:27it's different guys at different spots. I mean, I sat there and I took Lou Dort to lead the
01:32series in threes and he's tied with Obi Toppin after the first game. Like what's happening here?
01:40But it's about the fact that these guys play, they dig in and I'm starting to feel like with
01:45all the shots, I mean, if we had like big shot Bob for Robert Horry, what are we calling Tyrese
01:52Halliburton? Cause big shot Bob would give you like one a post season. This guy's giving you three
01:58and three rounds. What a performance down the stretch by Halliburton and the entirety of that
02:03team sticking together, staying to the plan and shocking everyone in the fourth quarter again.
02:10Yeah, that was an amazing performance last night just to see them win. Now let's talk about
02:14coaching mindset too. Cause game one is out of the way, heavy favorite in game. Number one,
02:18the Pacers were marked underdogs. They ended up winning that game, but also from a Pacers
02:22perspective, Rick, all I goes, we didn't even play well coach and we won that basketball game.
02:27What is your mindset for the Pacers moving forward? You won a game. You were horrendous in the first
02:33half and yet you still put out the victory. They, they stole home court. So, I mean,
02:38if you thought there was pressure on Oklahoma city in game one, it's, I know they said, Oh,
02:45we've been here before. I, we get it. And this was Denver and you hung 145 points. And maybe you'd do
02:51that again in game two, but you've taken home court. You were Carlisle. You're looking at your guys and
02:57say, all the pressure is off of us. And it's going to be honestly guys rinse and repeat. I'm going to
03:03play my guys. I'm going to go through my rotation and then we're going to figure it out. As it goes,
03:08everybody be ready. Everybody be locked in. I don't know who it's going to be. It could be you
03:14be ready to go and, and just say, listen, let's get it to the end and let's go steal it again.
03:21It's not like they haven't done it multiple times this full season. So Rick Carlisle is in a great
03:27spot. We keep talking about this. This guy continues to deserve his flowers because he's
03:32doing it time and time again for a long NBA career.
