00:00
But Williams really was the guy throughout the game who kept the Thunder at pace.
00:04
Of course, he says all these last games, they don't matter at all whatsoever.
00:09
The next three is all that counts. Here's Williams.
00:12
Aside from game planning and scouting, this is like a totally new series,
00:18
like a treat, and this is game one.
00:20
You know what I mean?
00:20
You can't really focus on what happened in the past
00:25
or what you could have changed on game one.
00:27
And, you know, you're just looking at the fact that it's tied up now,
00:32
and I feel like that's the most, like, clean slate attitude you can have with it.
00:35
And that's the approach that I think both teams are taking.
00:37
It's definitely the one we're taking.
00:39
You just kind of go in there and figure out how to win game five, and that be it.
00:43
Yeah, I mean, it really is one at a time.
00:47
They have to, you know, get it done on their home floor tonight.
00:52
The Pacers didn't do it in game four, and I think they'll rue the day
00:56
because they had that game by the throat and let it slip through their fingers.
00:59
So that's exactly what Oak City doesn't want to do tonight.
01:05
They do not want to do that at all.
01:07
Of course, Tyrese Halliburton and the Pacers,
01:09
they have been very good after a loss in these playoffs.
01:14
Really good at bouncing back.
01:16
Here's Halliburton on game five tonight.
01:18
I feel great.
01:19
I feel great.
01:20
I think that's the best part about playoff series is, you know,
01:25
when you get the chance to respond.
01:27
I think that's the great thing about sports.
01:28
You know, you're going to have good games, you're going to have bad games,
01:31
but there's nothing like the game to respond, you know.
01:34
So I look forward to doing that with this group and, you know,
01:38
coming out and competing.
01:39
And, you know, we got to be ready for a really big challenge that lies ahead
01:44
with this team and in this environment.
01:46
So I'm really looking forward to doing that with my teammates and seeing,
01:50
you know, how we respond.
01:52
We'll see if they, you know, show up tonight and throw some haymakers.
01:57
They've done that in every game in some capacity, except I think game two.
02:03
I thought, you know, game two,
02:05
they looked like they were happy they had got home court by winning game one
02:10
and then they gave up.
02:11
And I hate seeing teams just be satisfied with a split and throw in the towel.
02:18
That's what they did.
02:19
I thought that was weak, but I thought they looked fabulous in game three.
02:23
I thought they looked good in game four until they didn't.
02:26
I thought they played three good quarters for the most part
02:29
and then blew it in the fourth quarter and got their ass rung up.
02:33
And so, you know, for the most part,
02:36
I think they've played well in every game, but game two.
02:38
Tonight, they have to throw punches.
02:42
They got to throw haymakers tonight on the road.
02:44
Otherwise, the pressure is going to be on them, I think.
02:48
You know, people say to close out, it's the hardest game,
02:50
but I think the pressure will be on the Pacers in the field house in game six,
02:54
without a doubt, if they're facing elimination.
02:58
No doubt about that.
03:00
Here's Carlisle now.
03:01
As I mentioned, there were some very questionable calls
03:04
down the stretch Friday night in game number four.
03:07
Scott Foster was one of the guys, was the head official, of course, in that game.
03:12
Here's Carlisle talking about all of the bad, I guess you could say,
03:16
publicity that the refs and Foster get.
03:18
I think it's awful what some of the things I've seen about the officiating,
03:25
and Scott Foster in particular.
03:27
I've known Scott Foster for 30 years.
03:29
He's a great official.
03:31
He's done a great job in these playoffs.
03:32
We've had him a lot of times, and the ridiculous scrutiny that's being thrown out there
03:41
is terrible and unfair and unjust and stupid.
03:47
Yeah, actually, I think you're two-faced, because I watch this guy screaming and yelling at refs
03:55
every night, every game, cussing them out, in their face, on the court, throwing tantrums.
04:03
He really does.
04:04
I'm not even going to defend this.
04:07
I mean, it's just automatic.
04:09
That's exactly what he does.
04:10
And then now, all of a sudden, he's nobbing them?
04:12
Are you kidding me?
04:14
Like, you know, at least, like, let me just tell you, I'll cut to the chase.
04:19
I never once saw Bob Knight say anything nice about a ref ever in 50 years.
