00:00Oh, boy. Game number six of the NBA Finals. Joe, we could have been recapping an NBA season.
00:05We could have had two leagues, the NHL and the NBA wrap up this week while we were on the air.
00:09That's not going to be the case. Yesterday, a big time victory for the Indiana Pacers at home,
00:15taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder. It might have been a surprise to many, but if we were
00:18looking at the odds market before that game, it was like, wait a second, lines going up,
00:22lines going down. But the prevailing process for me was, I knew once they announced Halliburton
00:26was going to play, whether he was healthy or not, Joe, that that would drop the line.
00:30Because we had those fives, five and a half. We had outlets out there at four and a half
00:33at game time yesterday. So if you waited, you got a much better number on OKC,
00:37but it did not matter yesterday. You take a look at the Pacers, did exactly what you wanted them to
00:41do. Play well in the first quarter, enough to have a lead to keep that crowd into it. And then by the
00:46time you got to quarter number two, they really hit the gas pedal and ended that game early.
00:51What an impressive performance in game number six there for the Indiana Pacers, which now we have
00:56a game number seven, 108 to 91. The defense was there. The pressure was there. The crowd was
01:02there. And now we have a game seven. Yeah, it was it kind of done. If you listen to the show
01:09yesterday, we kept telling folks, listen, what is OKC done on the road to let you to believe that
01:17they are just going to walk into Indiana and win an NBA title, no less on somebody else's court. That's
01:23just not what this team is. Not saying they're not going to be champions, but what you got last
01:29night was exactly what you've gotten all postseason long from the Oklahoma City Thunder. On the road,
01:35they are MIA. They're nowhere to be found. I can't remember a championship run, a team this big a
01:42favorite, Donnie, look that bad on the road and then look like Superman at home. It's amazing to me
01:49the home road splits with this Oklahoma City team, a team that didn't even score 100 points
01:55with running up and down. Now, granted, both of these teams, I think they missed their first 13
02:01shots out of the break. And that was kind of crazy to start the second half. But this game was never
02:07in doubt outside of the first maybe two or three minutes where Indiana couldn't make a shot to start
02:13the game. But after that, it was all Indiana.
