00:00Congratulations, Tylus Rafa Elsia, 7 gold medals for this year's Palarong Pambansa.
00:06So, Tylus, kanina mo inooffer tong panalan na to?
00:10Sa mga parents ko, yung kapatid, yung brothers ko, yung mga coaches ko, at yung mga friends ko sa swimming.
00:21Are you satisfied with your performance here?
00:24Yes, po.
00:257 gold medals.
00:27Pangilang palaro ko na pala to ulit?
00:28Second, po.
00:29Second.
00:30And last year, last year sa Cebu?
00:32Yes.
00:33Ano yung bronze?
00:34Isang bronze.
00:35From one bronze to seven gold medal sweep, ano pang nandam?
00:38He was very good.
00:40Did you expect na ganun kalaki yung improvement in just one year?
00:45From one bronze to seven?
00:46Why?
00:46Why did you expect that?
00:47Because my, ever since Palarong, my time drastically keeps going down.
00:53It keeps going down until now.
00:56Talaga, ano yung nakahiligan mo pala sa swimming?
00:59I mean, it's fun.
01:01Like, paano mo siya napick up?
01:02Paano ka na-paano ka na-entice na subukan siya?
01:06Kasi yung brother ko, his, yung older brother ko, mayroon special.
01:10Yung mama ko decided to make him do swimming so that after each swim lesson, he'll be less hyper.
01:18He made, she let me join it and I found joy.
01:21And then I kept swimming after that.
01:24How old are you?
01:25How old are you when you tried out for me?
01:27Five?
01:28Four?
01:29Pero I stopped for two, three years because of pandemic.
01:32Only after the pandemic did I start doing competitive.
01:35So, since nung Cebu, nung first palaro mo, of course you got one bronze, what inspired you to be back?
01:46Para makabalik dito.
01:48With new friends.
01:50What else?
01:52We in recognition from some of the elite swimmers.
01:55Why?
01:59Why do you want that?
02:01Because that was the only thing I thought, that was, that's the only thought I made in, after palaro, from last year.
02:09Ano yung bago sa training mo from last year?
02:13Kasi day long.
02:15Kasi yung training, well it's still the same, yung same intensity, kilometers is the same thing.
02:23Is it endurance or the power of your arms?
02:27The power of your, like that, the way you swing your arms in the water.
02:32Maybe both.
02:33Huh?
02:34Maybe both.
02:34Okay.
02:35What's next for you, Cebu?
02:38Batang Pinay.
02:39Wow.
02:41Even though it's a few months away.
02:43Pag ilang batang pinay mo yan, Cebu?
02:45Ito yung, this will be my second.
02:47Oh.
02:47Ah, you were in Palawan last year.
02:49Naka ilang medals kaming lahat.
02:51Some silver, some bronze.
02:53Saan yung events yun?
02:54Two free silver, it's about two box bronze.
02:57What's your target, going to the Batang Pinay this year?
03:01I don't know.
03:02It's still in a few months, I have time to decide.
03:04So seven events ulit?
03:07Ah, currently you're, ah, the most medal athlete in kapalarong pambansa.
03:12Meaning, the athlete with the most medals.
03:15So, for you, ganun kasaya lang that, ah, you had to, you only, you're, the only change that you did in your training was, ayun nga, once a day na, once a day every day pa?
03:26Twice a day.
03:27Twice a day, Tuesday, Thursday.
03:28Twice a day, okay.
03:29Twice a day, okay.
03:29Twice a day, okay.
03:29Twice a day, okay.
03:30Tapos, I joined more competition.
03:32Twice a day, yeah.
03:33Ah, nung, nung last time, last time talagang, palaro lang ba yung nalaro mo, or may sinalihan ka ba ng mga, ano da?
03:40More individual, more invitational, invitational, like yung gladiators, this, like, this, last, last week.
03:48But, ah, yeah, your thoughts on being the most medal, ah, active, dito sa panalo?
03:53Let's wait until tomorrow so I can decide.
03:56You already are.
03:57Wait, what?
03:58You already are.
03:59You already are.
03:59I mean, Sophia can tell you, but, ah, at this point, you have the most goals.
04:06I feel happy.
