00:00Inaasahang gugulong na ang mga akbang para sa pagbuon ng Senado ng Impeachment Court na lilitis kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:08Siniguro naman ang ilang mababatas na hindi maapektuhan ang impeachment ang pagpasa sa ilang prioridad na panukalang batas.

00:16Yan ang ulatin Daniel Manalas-Daz.

00:19Sa susunod na linggo nasisimula ng ilang proseso sa Senado,

00:22kao na ay sa impeachment complaint ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:26Kamakailan, sumunod si Sen. President Jesus Cudero kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez na nagsabing

00:31handa silang tanggapin ang House Prosecutor sa June 2, alas 4 ng hapon.

00:36Inaasahang babasahin ang prosekusyon ang pitong charges sa ilalim ng Articles of Impeachment.

00:41Kinabukasan June 3 naman, inaasahang magkukunwin na ang Senado bilang Impeachment Court.

00:46Ayon kay Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, fully committed ang Senado nagampana ng kanilang mandato patungkol sa impeachment.

00:53Pero patuloy silang tutugon sa pangailangan ng mga Pilipino.

00:56Tiwala rin si Gatchalian na hindi mahahadlangan ng impeachment ang mga prioridad na panukalang batas na kailangan maipasa.

01:03Si Sen. Loren Legarda, ibinahagi rin ang ilang ginagawang paghahanda.

01:07Preparing for the impeachment is more than just wearing our gowns, right?

01:14No, but really, we're reading the rules of this and the past impeachments and getting ourselves emotionally ready as well.

01:24Si Sen. Electito Soto naman na magbabalik Senado sa 20th Congress, iginiit ang kahandaan sa impeachment trial.

01:30I'm prepared because I'm a veteran of two other impeachments.

01:37I don't know about the others.

01:40I have a very good mastery of the parliamentary rules and procedures.

01:49And then as far as my knowledge of the rules of court, fair.

01:54So I'm prepared. Just whatever comes up as far as the impeachment is concerned.

02:00Pero aminado si Soto na may ilang probisyon na kailangan bigyan ng kasagutan.

02:05Katulad na lang kung tatawid sa susunod na kongreso ang impeachment.

02:08As far as the Senate rules are concerned, they will have to repilate.

02:11But as far as the impeachment rules are concerned, it may carry over.
