00:00There was a reaction of some lawmakers, including the second president regarding the impeachment proceedings in Congress.

00:07Here are the details of the country's news report by Mel Alesmoraz of PTV Manila.

00:11God save the Philippines. Yes, we agree. God save the Philippines from the Duterte, especially VP Sara Duterte.

00:21And VP Sara, when she said God save the Philippines, she did not save the DepEd from corruption.

00:31She did not save the confidential and intelligence funds from various anomalies.

00:37She did not save the fishermen in the West Philippine Sea.

00:42So she has no right to say and invoke God save the Philippines.

00:46Because in many occasions, she failed to save the Philippines.

00:50This was the response of ACT-Bayan Party List Representative Percy Zendaya in the statement of Vice President Sara Duterte,

00:57who hopes that God will save the country after she is impeached by the Camera.

01:02According to Zendaya, instead of asking God, VP Sara should explain first about the heavy issue that is being thrown at her.

01:10It is also difficult to judge on behalf of VP Sara that it is more painful to leave a partner than an impeachment.

01:19I want to tell VP Sara that this is not a matter of partner, this is a matter of public accountability and responsibility.

01:26Her statement that it is more painful to leave a partner than to be impeached shows how low her regard or view of public service is,

01:37how she does not value the mandate of the people.

01:41The Young Guns group was also threatened by Vice President Zendaya in the impeachment.

01:47They did not like VP Sara's first avoidance in responding to the heavy accusation against her.

01:54House Deputy Majority Leader Paulo Ortega also said that Vice President Zendaya seems to be living in another dimension.

02:00ACT-Bayan Black also strongly condemned VP Sara's first inappropriate response to an important matter.

02:07According to Surigao del Norte's Second District Representative Robert Ace Barbers,

02:11their support for the impeachment of Vice President Duterte has a basis and is of no importance.

02:18Almost 80 percent of the House of Representatives agreed with this, so ACT-Bayan is thankful to the voices of the people.

02:26The political parties had a consultation. They were given a copy of this complaint, it was studied and analyzed.

02:38Other members agreed with this. There's no substitute for this. The issue here is transparency, accountability, and rule of law.

02:53We need to have a judgment, we need to have justice.

03:01In the middle of the impeachment issues, congressmen said that they will continue to listen to other issues even during the session break.
