00:00RUNWAY LOOK
00:02Previously on Project Runway All Stars.
00:05For your challenge, you'll create one runway look
00:08that showcases two styles.
00:12It's great. I'm glad you made it short.
00:13Me too.
00:15Hopefully, they do too, Christian.
00:16All my plans are failing.
00:20The winner of this challenge,
00:21Best Showcase the Contrasting Styles,
00:24the winner is...
00:26Lurls.
00:29That's three wins for you, Laurence.
00:31I'll take it.
00:32Rajay, Bishmi, Kato,
00:36two of you will be in and one of you will be out.
00:39Kato, I'm sorry, but you are out.
00:43There's nothing wrong with my outfit.
00:45I don't care what anybody says.
00:46It was precise.
00:47So nothing that's been said today
00:49is going to take anything from me.
00:51Peace out.
00:52Fashion designer Christian Siriano,
00:59journalist Elaine Welteroth,
01:01fashion designer Brandon Maxwell,
01:03and editor-in-chief of Elle magazine Nina Garcia
01:06are looking for America's next great fashion designer.
01:10At stake for the winner,
01:11a quarter of a million dollars
01:13supplied by Pilot FriXion erasable pens,
01:16a feature in Elle magazine,
01:18and a career-changing mentorship
01:20with the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
01:23This is Project Runway All Stars.
01:32Hi.
01:33You're the winner.
01:34My female companion.
01:36They f***ed me hard last night, put me in the bottom.
01:38It makes you very self-conscious.
01:40It's important to remember,
01:42whether it's top or bottom or safe,
01:44you're kept here because your creative voice is important.
01:47Exactly.
01:48I'm all cool and dandy, but my ass still hurts.
01:50My ass hurt before, girl?
01:52I think we all rocked the bottom.
01:54Yes.
01:55At the end of the day,
01:56I don't think I've let it bring me down.
01:58I continue to push.
01:59No, you have. You've done really good.
02:00And that's what I'm going to do.
02:01Until they actually really walk me to the door,
02:03that's what the f*** you're going to get.
02:05I think we're all realizing how close we are to the finals.
02:08So everyone is at a very sensitive time right now.
02:11How does it feel to have the triple crown?
02:13Triple crown?
02:14Yeah, your triple crown.
02:15It's not a crown.
02:17But it feels...
02:18You know what I mean.
02:19It feels great.
02:20What else is going on?
02:22I didn't come here to win challenges.
02:23I came here to win the competition.
02:25The finale.
02:35And then there were five.
02:40Oh boy, he's wearing feathers or brooms.
02:44Yeah, feathers.
02:47Oh my God.
02:48What crochet is a fan for you?
02:52Hello.
02:54As you can see by my fabulous fan,
02:57the era of male peacocking is upon us.
03:02What's a male peacocking?
03:03Male peacocking.
03:06Male peacocking, darling.
03:08Alright.
03:09Red carpet fashion is no longer just for the ladies.
03:12Timothee Chalamet wowed at the Venice Film Festival.
03:16Lil Nas X shutting down the VMAs.
03:19Laurence, you get it?
03:20Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:21Oh yeah, yeah.
03:22Peacocking.
03:23Alright.
03:24Designers, your challenge.
03:26Embrace the peacocking trend
03:28and create a striking red carpet menswear look
03:33worthy of a thousand flashbulbs.
03:35Stand out and attract the most attention possible,
03:38but by still being chic.
03:40And guess what?
03:41It's a two-day challenge.
03:43Yay!
03:44And I have more good news.
03:46What is it?
03:47The winner of this challenge will get $5,000.
03:51Oh!
03:52Wow.
03:53Alright, you guys have 30 minutes now
03:55to sketch in the workroom
03:56and I will meet you at Mood when you're done.
03:58Alright.
03:59Yay.
04:00Alright.
04:02Thanks.
04:06Alright, let's see what we got.
04:08What's happening here?
04:09Should we just flip them then?
04:10Flip them out.
04:11Let's just look.
04:12Flip them out.
04:13Let's just look and see what we've got.
04:14Okay.
04:15He's cute.
04:16He's got a good butt.
04:17That's who I want.
04:18Eric.
04:19I think I want this guy.
04:20I have Kenan.
04:21I am not that much of a peacocker,
04:24but I love creating bold looks.
04:27Follow me as I sketch.
04:28I'm really excited, honestly.
04:30I don't know how to sketch men's stuff,
04:31but we're gonna use this lady.
04:33I've been peacocking my whole life.
04:35They used to pick on me, calling me gay
04:37and all kind of stuff,
04:38but I wear my skinny jeans.
04:39I've been wearing pink for God knows how long.
04:41I'm doing a take on the butler jacket
04:43by creating a very cropped blazer
04:45with a dinner jacket lapel
04:47with high-waisted pants.
04:49I think I want some art incorporated
04:51into this madness.
04:52I'm just used to women's croquis,
04:54so I think I'm just gonna draw women's croquis,
04:56but with this style on it.
04:58Less curves.
05:00Alright, guys.
05:01Let's go find some men at Lodge.
05:03Let's go shop.
05:07Back again.
05:08Morning.
05:09Hi, designers.
05:10Hello.
05:11Laurence.
05:12As the winner of the last challenge,
05:14you win an advantage.
05:15An extra $200.
05:17Yee!
05:18So $950 for you.
05:20That's a lot of money.
05:21And $750 for the rest of you.
05:23Ready?
05:24Yep.
05:25Go.
05:2630 minutes.
05:27It goes quick.
05:31You in another fabric area
05:34other than leather?
05:36I mean, I'm still going there.
05:37Oh, you're still going there.
05:38Okay.
05:39Well, I'm thinking about making
05:40a four-piece situation, right?
05:42It's skinny pants,
05:44a kilt,
05:46a shirt,
05:47and on top, a sleeveless jacket.
05:49I love a kilt on a man.
05:51Why is it covered?
05:52Because it's on hold for somebody.
05:54Alright.
05:55Oh, wait.
05:56They didn't pick that up yet?
05:57That's for you?
05:58What?
05:59Sorry.
06:00It's on hold for...
06:01What in the hell?
06:02So and very famous.
06:03I can't give it to you.
06:04I just want it to look cool and dope.
06:06Rami, what are you going to do?
06:07I want to do a deconstructed suit jacket.
06:12Christian, let me just explain.
06:13I'm listening.
06:14Please.
06:15I think that some people think
06:16that draping is just for women,
06:17but I really want to incorporate that
06:20into a men's challenge.
06:21So the sleeve on the jacket,
06:23instead of having a straight seam,
06:25the seam actually wraps around
06:27and the seam becomes the design itself.
06:30What if he wore the coolest,
06:33most amazing, draped, slinky,
06:37like skirt pants?
06:39I like that.
06:40I'll do three yards of this when you have a minute.
06:43You love this?
06:44I love this.
06:45I keep coming back to it.
06:46And I thought that with the peacocking thing,
06:49I can make it cool that it's like both sides.
06:52Okay.
06:53I'm going to make this really beautiful pair of pants
06:55that have the placket that I love so much.
06:57One garment can be styled in many different ways
07:00with just simply snapping it closed or opening it up.
07:04Designers.
07:06Ten-minute warning.
07:08Can I get four yards of this?
07:10And there's a price check on aisle two.
07:13I'll be right back. Thank you.
07:14It's going to be very minty.
07:16Well, guess what? You have two minutes.
07:20Give me eight yards, please.
07:21In the silk area, I find this pink silk pique fabric.
07:26It does catch your eye.
07:28Can I get three yards of this, please?
07:30And with that bronze metallic mesh, it will make it pop.
07:34With peacocking.
07:35All right, designers, that's it.
07:37That's time.
07:38Bye.
07:40Thanks for showing us.
07:42Bye.
07:43Bye.
07:52Rami, have you ever done custom menswear?
07:55I've made myself some pieces.
07:58But, like, most of my clients are...
08:00Women?
08:01Yeah.
08:02Same.
08:03It took me a long time to get over that, like, tuxedo challenge.
08:07Yes.
08:08It took me a long time to get over that.
08:09I'm shocked that this is your design.
08:12It felt like a Douchey Hamptons party.
08:14Stop.
08:17I've had three years to, you know, run through my head
08:20what I could have done differently,
08:21but I cannot be second-guessing myself.
08:24I have to come in here and show that I am indeed a confident designer
08:29that knows what she contributes to the industry
08:32and do that full force.
08:37Coming up...
08:38Ow.
08:39Are you okay?
08:40Yeah.
08:41Oh, f***.
08:42All right.
08:43Bloody hell.
08:44I'm so stressed.
08:45That's, like, every designer's nightmare,
08:47because sometimes you can't get the blood out.
08:55That look...
08:56Oh, s***.
08:57Basquiat.
08:58This means wealth.
08:59For this look, I want to express who I am.
09:02So, what is drawn onto the actual fabric is what is called a veve,
09:06and that is a marking that's usually displayed in voodoo ceremonies,
09:11and it's exciting to me to see it come to life in an actual garment.
09:15I am so excited.
09:16I'm so excited.
09:17I'm so excited.
09:18I'm so excited.
09:19I'm so excited.
09:20I'm so excited.
09:21I'm so excited.
09:22I'm so excited.
09:23This is the actual garment.
09:24Hi, everybody.
09:25Hi.
09:26Hola, Christian.
09:27Hello, Christian.
09:28Oh my gosh.
09:29It's so quiet.
09:30It's really so quiet.
09:31All right, I'm coming to see you.
09:32All right.
09:33Thanks.
09:34Having been a finalist and having shown my collection before,
09:37I know firsthand it really does make a difference in one's career,
09:41and this is the place where it's important for a designer to make their mark.
09:45Brittany.
09:46Hey, Christian.
09:47We're peacocking.
09:48We are.
09:49You're almost literally peacocking.
09:50This, like, looks like a peacock.
09:52Tell me, what's the vibe here?
09:53What is your thought?
09:54What do you want to do?
09:55So I cut like a flared trouser.
09:58And a beautiful blouse.
09:59Yeah, and then I was thinking about doing some type
10:02of like bow.
10:02Bow, ascot.
10:03Yeah, like a Gucci feel.
10:05You don't seem like you're worried
10:06about doing menswear this time.
10:08I'm not.
10:09I've been thinking about it for a long time.
10:10You didn't do great last time.
10:11I know.
10:12I was blessed to have Colin come in
10:15for the below deck thing
10:15because he helped me get my bearings.
10:17And then having this, it's like,
10:18okay, now I've done the technical part.
10:20Let me just like actually push an aesthetic
10:22for menswear and have fun with it.
10:23Good luck.
10:24I'm excited to see this.
10:25Me too.
10:26Hola.
10:27Wow, pleating?
10:29It gives you a skirt vibe.
10:30So the front is a little shorter than the back.
10:33So I will have a pants underneath
10:35and the top, I want to do a bulletproof vest.
10:38What do you mean?
10:39What are you talking about?
10:40Where are we going?
10:41A leather bulletproof vest.
10:41She just woke up today and said,
10:43I want to make a bulletproof vest.
10:45Okay.
10:48And underneath that, I'll have a very flowy chemisier.
10:54Even you're laughing because this is insanity.
10:57So he gets a chiffon blouson.
11:00Chiffon and un peu de paillettes.
11:03I know it sounds crazy,
11:04but in my head, I told you it looks great.
11:06It looks, oh, well, I'm so happy
11:08that in your head, it looks great.
11:09Because in my head, you're crazy.
11:12It's a shirtless vest, I promise you.
11:13It's actually smaller than the one you're wearing right now.
11:17Good luck.
11:19I got to go get my vest tested.
11:25Ooh, that looks cool.
11:28Crochet.
11:29What do these symbols mean?
11:30Well, this means wealth.
11:32It's called a veve.
11:33In a voodoo ceremony, before you call one of the spirits,
11:36you trace a sign.
11:38Like when you cut this, are you going to lose this?
11:41You are.
11:42Beautiful.
11:43But then you lose the symbolism.
11:44I don't really want the symbolism so much
11:47because it should be so clear.
11:49And under, I'm doing a metallic,
11:51goldish mesh turtleneck with this.
11:53Oh, that's inside the cape?
11:55Yes.
11:57She's a lot of look.
11:58This is your chance.
11:59You've got to like get on the top again.
12:02From season 19, I redrew my entire savings
12:06to build my brand.
12:08I don't think it's a decision any parent has to make
12:10where you have to decide,
12:12do you pay that money to a lawyer for immigration
12:15to bring your child here?
12:16Or do you spend that money in your business
12:18and create something for this child
12:21so when you do bring her here, you have something?
12:24Good luck.
12:29Rami.
12:30Hi.
12:30Look at this.
12:31Wow.
12:34Do you do menswear?
12:34Generally, no, but I've done a few custom pieces.
12:36A few, okay.
12:37You know, but this type of tailoring, it's new for me.
12:40Men don't typically show skin,
12:42so I thought of like a sexy element.
12:44So I decided to do it an off-shoulder kind of jacket
12:46for a man.
12:47What goes underneath?
12:48Basically pants, but then having sort of like,
12:51almost looks like a skirt, basically.
12:53I like it a lot.
12:54Part of my design intention is to include elements
12:57of bridal into this unexpected menswear peacocking look.
13:01This has to be sewn.
13:02Perfect.
13:03Gorgeously.
13:04Yes, no, it has to.
13:05Okay.
13:05For sure.
13:06Don't let me down.
13:07I won't.
13:08Bishmi, how's it going?
13:10It's going good.
13:11How you feeling?
13:12Feeling good.
13:13You know, you gotta meet it right there.
13:14There we go.
13:17All right.
13:18What's the vibe?
13:19I like the idea of this and this.
13:22So like a monochromatic look.
13:24Yeah, and I was giving him like a Western vibe.
13:27In my mind, the Western movies are always
13:29like our best revenge movies.
13:31Like this.
13:32That's interesting.
13:33I wanted to do like a dressed up version of a cargo.
13:36Then I'm gonna do a vest and kind of have this hat
13:39that's like a scarf type of thing.
13:42I'm excited.
13:43It's gonna look really cool.
13:44Later.
13:45I did it.
13:46Oh, you did it right.
13:47Look at you.
13:48Kind of hurt.
13:48All right, designers.
13:49You have two hours left to work tonight.
13:52Your models will be here tomorrow morning.
13:53Yes, work.
13:55I'll see you guys in the morning.
13:56Good luck.
13:57Bye.
13:58Bye.
13:59Smell you later.
14:00I smell good.
14:05Last week, I was in a bottom again.
14:08So I need to figure out how to turn this suit
14:10into a winning look.
14:12I can't hear the judges like this is too much look
14:15or it looks like a costume.
14:17There has to be a balance.
14:18You have to give the clients what they want in your way.
14:22Guys.
14:23Yeah.
14:24We are done for today.
14:25Let's go home.
14:26That's it.
14:27All right.
14:28Come on, let's get it.
14:29Let's get it.
14:30Don't leave me here.
14:32No.
14:42Hi, top five.
14:47I can't believe it.
14:49There's only one more challenge for the finale.
14:51We were all convinced this was going to be avant-garde.
14:53It's menswear.
14:58But it's a good one.
14:59The whole thing is like peacocking, you know?
15:01So it's like over the top, like Harry Styles
15:03and Timothee Chalamet.
15:04So I'm like popping the off on it.
15:06This is what you do every single day.
15:08Work under pressure.
15:09You do all the customs.
15:10I love you, baby.
15:11All right.
15:12We'll talk soon, okay?
15:13Okay.
15:14Bye.
15:15Bye.
15:16Hey, Bishmina.
15:17Hey there, Ramesha.
15:18What's up?
15:18What channel are you on today?
15:19I'm on channel 64.
15:21Really?
15:22Once the model's coming, I'm going to be on channel 69.
15:24Hey.
15:26Let me fit you today.
15:28I'm married.
15:29You are not available to me.
15:30If Ana was here.
15:31Ana's like, hi.
15:34Bad divorce for two days.
15:35I want to party with you more.
15:37Shall we?
15:38Yeah, we have to.
15:39I'm sorry.
15:39I'm sorry.
15:40You have so much fun today.
15:42Okay.
15:43We got a lot of to do and let's go.
15:45Let's go do it.
15:45All right.
15:51Open the door for you ladies.
15:52Thank you so much.
15:53Enjoy yourselves.
15:54Thank you, Bishmina.
15:55Hi, guys.
15:56Hi, guys.
15:57Hey, guys.
15:58Hi.
15:58Hey.
15:59Peek out.
16:00Bring it out.
16:01Bring it out.
16:02Bring it out.
16:03Bring it out.
16:03Bring it out.
16:04Boom.
16:05Boom.
16:06Boom.
16:07How many pieces you have?
16:08Three, but could be two.
16:10I'm drafting the pants so that I have the proportions right.
16:13The pants process is a very tedious one.
16:16These are some of the most delicate fabrics,
16:18which typically are not used for pants.
16:20This is a big risk because if something goes wrong,
16:24the jig is up.
16:25It's a wrap.
16:36Hi, designers.
16:38It's a great day.
16:40Who wants a model?
16:41Me.
16:41Me.
16:42And remember, $5,000 is up for grabs.
16:45Can't forget.
16:46Bring in the men.
16:50Some of them already on the runway.
16:52Hi, how are you?
16:53You're so adorable.
16:55My name is Brittany.
16:56I'm Bishmik.
16:57How are you?
16:57Nice to meet you, man.
16:59Do you know what this is?
17:01A bulletproof vest.
17:01A bulletproof vest.
17:03Which is interesting.
17:05You could keep your pants on.
17:06I'm doing this video just to see where it lands.
17:08Well, how boring.
17:11This is it?
17:12This is it.
17:13No cape, nothing?
17:14Can I have a minute with my model?
17:16Yeah, sure.
17:18Just do these on one more time.
17:20So that's gonna be stitched down.
17:21I just haven't done any major stitching yet.
17:23Wow.
17:25Cool, right?
17:26I like it.
17:27You're wearing your wedding ring today?
17:29Bishmik reminded me to put it on.
17:31That's cute.
17:33Why are you making me blush?
17:34How long have you been married?
17:36I've been married for eight years.
17:37That's a long time.
17:38Yes, it is.
17:39I was a child bride.
17:44Pokes.
17:45Are you okay?
17:46Yeah, I poked.
17:47Are you serious?
17:51Can you get a Band-Aid?
17:52I'm just praying that there's no blood on my pants.
17:57There.
17:58Oh, this piece?
17:59Yeah.
18:00I mean, look.
18:02Bloody hell.
18:03That's like every designer's nightmare.
18:05Cause sometimes you can't get the blood out.
18:11It's the actual pants.
18:12Oh, this piece?
18:13Yeah.
18:14I mean, look.
18:15I mean, honestly, you could literally like cut this out
18:18and then cut a new pocket.
18:20I don't think you should wash it.
18:22Yeah.
18:23You could just make a new little strip.
18:25That'll take you five minutes.
18:26I don't want any blood on the look.
18:28No, maybe it's a part of the look.
18:31What happened?
18:32The vest had pins in it.
18:33The pin just melted on it?
18:35No, that's blood.
18:37Oh, um, hydroperoxide.
18:40It will come off, girl.
18:42Okay, hold on.
18:43Let me see what it just looks like.
18:44It's a knot.
18:47Creamy whites.
18:48Creamy, flowy, fluid whites.
18:52Project, it came out.
18:54You get a hug, too.
18:55Come here.
18:57You need the blouse.
18:59Yes, yes, yes, of course.
19:00Yeah.
19:01I mean, even though I love the idea of skin.
19:03No, I mean.
19:04But it's not red carpet enough, you know?
19:05Yeah, yeah, no, no, no.
19:05I wouldn't send you out like that.
19:06It's very cool, very sexy.
19:08I mean, it's very cute.
19:09I still have to whip up a shirt,
19:11which I'm going to do tomorrow,
19:13because I don't have all the answers for that one yet.
19:16I'm a magician, I'll do it.
19:17Hello.
19:18You don't have time to chat with cute boys.
19:20Let's wrap it up.
19:21Does it work?
19:22Yeah, it's great.
19:23Is it fit?
19:23It's perfect?
19:24You don't want to try the bows, the drapes, the thingies?
19:26Are you adding the bands?
19:28Whoa, there's a lot of questions.
19:29Yes, they're all here.
19:31Can't you try what you're going to do with these things?
19:35Or you don't care?
19:35I do care.
19:36Don't make it out to me like I don't care.
19:38I know.
19:39Jesus.
19:39I'm just kidding with you.
19:42Christian.
19:43I'm coming to you, honey.
19:46Your opinion?
19:47My opinion is I don't think the piece in the back
19:50should be pleated,
19:51so I think maybe it should be a simple panel.
19:53And the front of this crotch and the waist is good?
19:57Yes.
19:58Are you sure?
19:58Yes, because I'm not done, Christian.
20:00I just literally sewed this thing so you can slide it on.
20:03God, who sent you?
20:05You sent for me.
20:07I didn't send for you, girl.
20:07You called me like a little dog.
20:09When I send for you, you'll know.
20:11All right, designers, that's it.
20:12That's time.
20:13Say goodbye to your models.
20:15Thank them.
20:17All right, designers.
20:18Tomorrow is show day.
20:19Good luck, and I'll see you tomorrow.
20:21Okay.
20:22Thanks, Christian.
20:23Bye.
20:24Can't wait.
20:25Brittany, what do you think of men's fashion today
20:28and how it's evolved?
20:29In the past, it's always been so boring,
20:32but now it's like people are embracing
20:35just who they are, you know?
20:36Yeah.
20:37What I love most about fashion is that ideas and designs
20:42can actually make an impact.
20:45My mother passed away at the age of 38
20:48from a blood clot in the brain.
20:50My grandmother was a nurse.
20:52She was a nurse.
20:53She told me that I used to hold her hand
20:55and take her to her closet at the age of seven years old
20:59and point to the colorful dresses and not the black
21:02to tell her like what to wear.
21:03The beauty of fashion is that there are no rules.
21:06It's an opportunity to be playful,
21:08and it's an opportunity to kind of like break some molds.
21:14All right, guys, that's time.
21:16We're heading to the last show of the day.
21:18It's time to get ready for the show.
21:20All right, guys, that's time.
21:22We're heading to the lounge to get some drinks.
21:24Who's thirsty?
21:26I'm just caressing my man.
21:27Ooh, he's sexy.
21:31Check that thing.
21:34Where are your things to open the deer up?
21:38Oh my goodness.
21:43Coming up.
21:44To me, it's a confused businessman
21:46who moonlights at like an S&M bar.
21:50Who are they?
21:56Men's wear, men's wear.
21:58Yay, work room.
21:59Let's do it.
22:00Finish it up, everybody.
22:03Where we at? What we doing?
22:05Anybody have a needle?
22:07Somewhere here in this bag.
22:10Yup, yup, yup.
22:11Anytime, anytime.
22:12Ramesh a professional today.
22:14I know, right? He's been stucked in.
22:16I got my work uniform on.
22:18I'm ready for the office today, honey.
22:21Let me tell you.
22:22Cinched, tucked, and ready to go.
22:24Hi, everybody.
22:25Hey.
22:26Hi, Christian.
22:27How's it going?
22:28It's going.
22:29It's going.
22:30Is it red carpet ready?
22:32Almost.
22:33Look at me.
22:34I'm peacocking.
22:35You are.
22:36I like that.
22:37I wanted to fit the challenge.
22:38Oh, you do.
22:39Let's get your models in here.
22:40We're ready.
22:43Hola.
22:44How are you?
22:45So I'd love to, like, slip on the pants.
22:47I want to try this on real quick on you.
22:49And then by the time you get back,
22:50I'll have a whole new shirt for you.
22:52All right, this is good.
22:54All right.
22:56How do they feel?
22:57Yeah?
22:58Good?
22:59Okay, awesome.
23:00All right, designers, when you're ready,
23:01take your models to the makeup studio
23:03and the TRESemmé hair salon.
23:05Okay, great.
23:06Hello.
23:07Hi.
23:08Hi, hi, hi, hi.
23:09Smoke his eyes a little bit.
23:11I'd love, like, two braids.
23:13Ooh, la, la.
23:18Oh, s***.
23:22How you doing, Bishmina?
23:23My nerves are...
23:25Would you say your nerves are shot?
23:26Yeah.
23:27I think it's because it's just men's stuff.
23:32You love it with this blouse?
23:34Maybe, maybe not.
23:35I don't know.
23:36As a designer, we always come to a crossroad
23:38where we have to make a decision.
23:40And then I realized that I don't like it either.
23:43At this point, I'd rather have three pieces
23:46that I love than add something else to it
23:49that's going to throw me off.
23:50So I know I'm taking a chance.
23:53Thirty minutes until the show, people.
23:57Very stressful.
23:58This is going to be a dope show, though.
24:00Well, all our shows be dope, but...
24:01Hell, yeah.
24:02Hell, yeah.
24:03This is it?
24:05Underneath?
24:08Roger?
24:10Oh, God.
24:13That bronze mesh top?
24:15Yeah, that's how we discussed, right?
24:16Just so...
24:17Yeah, just a little simple turtleneck top.
24:20She's going to the red carpet.
24:21Like, he's dressed, well-dressed, put together.
24:23Okay.
24:24Mm-hmm.
24:26I think this challenge, there is a very fine line
24:29between what can turn into a costume.
24:32So I'm not trying to get kicked off the ship
24:35because I didn't edit.
24:37What's your vest look like?
24:39It's like a dope wraparound vest.
24:41Oh, this is the pieces that hang?
24:42Yeah.
24:43It look dope.
24:44Oh, you'll see it.
24:45It looks cool.
24:46I really, really like it.
24:47All right.
24:48I love it.
24:53Hmm.
24:54You like her?
24:55I just think it kind of finishes it.
24:57I mean, it's really easy just to tack on.
24:59You don't think?
25:00Yeah, let me just see.
25:01I think it looks like nothing without it.
25:03It is aggressive, but it's like...
25:06In a good way, though?
25:07...is not the point.
25:08I'm going to go ahead and add the bow
25:10I just embrace that it is extra and ridiculous,
25:14but it is part of the whole trend.
25:16And if they hate it, you can blame it on me.
25:18Christian said I should put this bow on it.
25:21Brittany's look is a Gucci look.
25:25Last week, Carto went home for shiny pants.
25:27I think where you lost me was with the oversized pant.
25:32So bad move on Brittany's part.
25:34See you next time.
25:36All right, one-minute designers,
25:37and we're leaving this room.
25:38One minute.
25:39Oh, I'm so excited.
25:45All right, designers, that's it.
25:47That's time.
25:48Time for the show.
25:49Great, thank you.
25:50Uh-huh.
25:51I got your shoes.
25:53All right, let's go.
25:57All right, designers, five minutes,
25:59last look, five minutes, and Lord, you need it.
26:02So with the train, before you go out,
26:05every time just make sure that it's flat behind you.
26:07One minute, designers, one minute.
26:09I was looking around, and I was thinking,
26:11oh, a look that's really working for me right now?
26:14None of them.
26:15Designers, that's it.
26:16That's time.
26:17$5,000 on the line.
26:19Get to the runway.
26:20Woo.
26:23So amazing.
26:24Hi, designers.
26:26Hi.
26:27There's just five of you.
26:30Tonight, four of you will move one step closer
26:34towards the finale.
26:36And taking home the grand prize.
26:39Yes.
26:40It's getting really hard for you and for us.
26:43All right, guys, I could not be more excited
26:46to introduce you to tonight's guest judge,
26:49although he needs no introduction.
26:51Let's be honest.
26:53He's one of the stars of Euphoria,
26:55Emmy-winning and Tony-nominated actor,
26:59writer, director, nobody peacocks better than this man.
27:05Coleman Dominguez.
27:09Hello, designers.
27:10Hello.
27:11I'm so excited to be here, truly.
27:15He is the epitome of peacocking.
27:18He keeps it so out of this box,
27:21and he's not afraid to wear prints, colors,
27:24and every time you see him on the red carpet,
27:26he looks amazing.
27:29We've actually never done a red carpet menswear challenge
27:33on Project Runway,
27:34so we can't wait to see what you guys all deliver.
27:38Let's start the show.
27:41I'm so excited.
27:51Oh, that's hot.
27:52Pretty proud of this look.
27:55Top is so adorable.
27:57It's like a little sexy
27:58because it's got the see-through organza.
28:01Menswear was the thing that just sent me
28:05into a complete spiral my original season.
28:08I love how it's like playing with history in many ways.
28:11You get 70s, you get Victorian,
28:13you get Edwardian all in one look.
28:15I love it.
28:16Totally.
28:17Yeah.
28:18It's validating that I've worked really hard
28:20to come back from the things that kind of set me back.
28:31I'm just feeling chills at the butterflies
28:34because the silk is just floating,
28:37the train is moving around,
28:39the pants are light as a feather,
28:41the jacket looks really cool.
28:43Can I see someone actually wearing that,
28:45like on the red carpet?
28:46I could.
28:47This look embodies both masculine and effeminate,
28:51two energies that I think are present in most people.
29:00I think that this is a great way to see it come to life
29:03in the form of a design.
29:13I'm taking it in.
29:14It is made for me.
29:15Definitely something that I would wear,
29:17but the overall look is almost kind of
29:20falling flat a little bit.
29:25I love high-waisted pants.
29:27I love the pleats.
29:29This is my kind of nod to retro,
29:32but the color is very burgundy right now on the runway.
29:39I can already feel that it's going to be a problem,
29:42but I think this is enough to stay in this competition.
29:53Hmm.
29:54I feel 75% okay.
29:56I love the pants, I love the kilt.
29:58I'm in love with the gilet pare-balle, the vest.
30:01It's just, I did not picture it like that.
30:06You know, when I have a specific vision
30:08and the piece is missing,
30:10then you can't see the whole thing.
30:15Did you say that's a kilt?
30:18Yes, I can.
30:27I'm feeling excited as I see Eric walk down the runway.
30:32The fedora shawl is dragging exactly how I need it to go.
30:36The color looks amazing on him,
30:38and he is looking so good in this.
30:41It's making me happy.
30:43I'm always pushing myself to create new things.
30:48I feel like you can work a couple looks with it,
30:50you know what I mean?
30:51The color is everything.
30:53The hat I struggled with.
30:54Mm, same.
31:00It's so hard.
31:03You know, it's like we're getting to that point,
31:06but it's really so hard.
31:09I guess that...
31:11I'm stressed.
31:24Designers, thank you for bringing the red carpet menswear
31:28to the runway tonight.
31:30We've scored your designs.
31:32One of you will be the winner and take home $5,000,
31:37and one of you will be out.
31:41We'd like to talk to everyone tonight.
31:43Only five of you left.
31:47Let's bring out one of our favorite looks of the night.
31:54I feel short.
31:56I know.
31:57Rami, you're in the top.
32:00Grateful for it.
32:01And I can't help but reflect on the fact
32:04that at one point during this competition,
32:06you went home.
32:07Yeah.
32:08So it's great to see you on the top.
32:09Tell us everything about your look, about peacocking.
32:12I want to kind of somehow merge the romance of womenswear
32:17with the structure of menswear.
32:19I just wanted something that could be suitable
32:22for a tying-the-knot ceremony
32:24or a red carpet or something in that sense.
32:27I loved this.
32:29This felt original.
32:30I think you did a great job.
32:32I'm going to throw it to Coleman.
32:34Would you wear this?
32:35You know what?
32:36I would wear it.
32:37The stylist that I work with asked me
32:39when I was going to my first Emmys,
32:41what did I want to wear and what I wanted to feel like.
32:44I said something elegant in my best self,
32:47and they said, what about the color cream?
32:49So when this came out,
32:50it reminded me of all those feelings.
32:51Thank you so much.
32:52I appreciate that.
32:53There's some fit issues.
32:55I think there's something about the fabric
32:57that looks a little bit inexpensive.
32:59But ultimately, the idea spoke to me so much
33:03that I was willing to overlook some of that.
33:06This is a draping delight.
33:08So this tunic is two pieces, right?
33:11Yes.
33:12This is my finale look.
33:13I think I could wear this.
33:15I feel like my left arm and armpit
33:17is one of my better features.
33:19Thank you so much, Rami.
33:21Thank you so much.
33:22We're happy to see you in the top.
33:23Pleasure. Thank you.
33:24Tyce, you may leave the runway.
33:26Let's bring out one of our highest scores of the night.
33:29Let's get the model out here.
33:34Come on, dance move.
33:35Thank you, bro.
33:37Bishmi, how are you?
33:38I'm happy as hell, Brandon.
33:40How are you?
33:41Good.
33:42My look, I had an idea of my actor
33:45premiering like a Wild Wild West movie premiere,
33:48like he was the star of it.
33:50I love color, so I wanted to try something
33:52I feel that would compliment his skin tone.
33:55I thought it was so cool.
33:57It's so playful,
33:58and I love how it's a little play on some street wear as well,
34:01the cargo element to it.
34:03Oh, thank you.
34:04I can see many brothers wearing this
34:05and rocking it and feeling confident
34:06and feel like you're going to stand out
34:08and make a statement.
34:10You took the opportunity to peacock,
34:12and you put a capital P on it, okay?
34:15I thought that the cut and fit of this look
34:19really celebrated the best of your model.
34:22I mean, look at those pecs, look at those arms.
34:24I know.
34:25He looks sexy.
34:26We never say that to the women,
34:28and then the men come on,
34:29and you guys are like, love the pecs.
34:31We talk about their figures.
34:33I love that Bishmi always thinks about the body.
34:37I'd love to see it without the hat.
34:39Without the hat.
34:40For one minute.
34:41One more second.
34:42Me too.
34:43He looks sharp.
34:44I think that the fact that you made the hat
34:46and the shawl in the same color,
34:48that's where it turns the corner into costume,
34:51but it made his look.
34:53That's for sure.
34:54I think it's a great, great suit,
34:56and I think it was less the hat so much
34:59it was the fabric of the hat.
35:01Gotcha.
35:02And I don't know that it did the most service
35:04to the clothes themselves.
35:06I just wanted to add just a touch of something
35:09that's dramatic.
35:10I think it's A for effort with the ideas.
35:12Gotcha.
35:13Thank you, Brendan.
35:14Thank you, Bishmi.
35:15Eric, you can leave the runway.
35:18All right, unfortunately,
35:19the next look was one of our least favorites.
35:21Here comes the model.
35:24What's it going to be?
35:27All right, Praje, tell us about your look.
35:29Well, I wanted to take a little take
35:32onto the butler's jacket by recreating my own fabric,
35:35so I actually painted over this.
35:37It's not my favorite.
35:38And I hate the copper mesh turtleneck.
35:43That's what really disturbed me.
35:45It just felt like there were a lot of ideas
35:48all in the same direction.
35:50Talk to me about the color story.
35:52I thought this color being pink was so bold
35:55that it would have translated better.
35:57I think it's very important for men
35:59who are walking red carpets
36:01to know what story they're telling.
36:03And I think I lean on a designer
36:06to also help me tell that story.
36:08And so if the story's unclear, it doesn't resonate.
36:12It felt like a nutcracker
36:15just waiting to go to the gay club.
36:17Like, I don't know.
36:18That's what it felt to me.
36:20Okay, Praje, thank you.
36:22Damani, you can leave the runway.
36:25Our next look of the night was one of our favorites.
36:27Let's bring out the model.
36:30Okay, how's it going?
36:32All right, Brittany, tell us about your peacocked look.
36:36So my thought was Harry or, like, Timothee Chalamet.
36:39And I wanted you to look at the whole look itself
36:42and be confused as to if the pieces
36:44were pulled from a menswear collection
36:46or a womenswear collection.
36:47If this hit a wonderful store, there will be a run.
36:50There'll be a fight between me, Jeremy Pope, Harry Styles,
36:54and Timothee Chalamet for this look.
36:56That is hot.
36:58I wouldn't.
36:59Timothee who? Harry what?
37:01It became about you.
37:03It's such a fun look.
37:05I love the oversized bow, that blouse,
37:08and there's something about the fabric of the pant,
37:10I have to say.
37:11Have I seen it before?
37:13Yes.
37:14It does look a little bit Gucci.
37:16I'm not saying that as a good or a bad thing.
37:18It just needs to be said.
37:19On Timothee and Harry.
37:21Yeah, but I'm not mad at this.
37:24Because whatever got you to this place is great.
37:28It is referential, but here is what I think is very unique.
37:34I recognize those pants.
37:36I recognize those closures.
37:38I know that is Britney.
37:40Is he going to be a showstopper on the red carpet?
37:43Yes, he will.
37:45Thank you, Nina.
37:46We have talked throughout this competition
37:47about things we have seen before on other looks from you.
37:51So while I wildly love this and everybody else loves this,
37:53next challenge, let's also think about originality, right?
37:57Thanks.
37:58All right, thank you so much, Britney.
38:01Kenan, you can dance off the runway.
38:05All right, the next look of the night
38:06had one of our lowest scores.
38:08Let's get the model out here.
38:14Laurence, tell us about your look.
38:16My client in my head was Lenny Kravitz
38:20going to a musical event for a red carpet.
38:23So I wanted to play with the kilt type of vibe
38:26with a suit pants and a bulletproof vest.
38:28I must say that this wasn't the most inspired red carpet look for me.
38:34It didn't peacock enough.
38:36I picked another fabric to do like a cool metallic shirt,
38:41but I wasn't sure about it, so I just decided not to go with it.
38:44Okay.
38:45Yeah.
38:46Laurence.
38:47Yes?
38:48The girl who's on fire.
38:50Mm-hmm.
38:52I am confused about the vision,
38:56kind of two different vibes that are put together
38:59in a way that's confusing, especially with the shoe.
39:01For me, this was a miss.
39:02All right, thank you.
39:04It's just two different things in one.
39:07To me, it's a confused businessman
39:09who moonlights at like an S&M bar.
39:13♪♪
39:18Laurence.
39:19Yes?
39:20I'm going to ask you something that Coleman pointed out.
39:24What is the story with this look?
39:28So first, I was thinking about a version of me, but as a male.
39:33So a very masculine man with a feminine, a little feminine side.
39:38I mean, is it just opposites working?
39:40That's what I do a lot with my own style,
39:42so for me, it doesn't shock me,
39:44but like I said, I understand if it's a no-go for a lot of people.
39:48I mean, you could wear this if you were Lenny Kravitz.
39:51I do think Lenny Kravitz could probably pull off everything,
39:54and this included.
39:55The pieces by themselves are okay,
39:58but I feel like I'm missing the story.
40:01Yeah.
40:02It just doesn't work together.
40:05Thank you so much.
40:06Michael, you can leave the runway.
40:09Designers, thank you so much for this very fun peacocking challenge.
40:14We're going to ask you to leave the runway,
40:17and we will call you back when we're ready.
40:20You okay?
40:21I'm good.
40:22Okay.
40:23This challenge was all about standing out on the red carpet,
40:25and three designers did that really, really well.
40:27Brittany, Rami, and Bishme.
40:29All right, let's talk about Rami for a minute.
40:31I love that he's going for that mix between masculine and feminine.
40:34I thought it was beautiful.
40:36Rami's look felt really inspired and very original,
40:39and ultimately it was peacocking in sort of this quiet, elegant way.
40:45I'm kind of obsessed with a tuxedo for men or for women.
40:50The one sleeve, the draping, the pants, the tunic over the pants.
40:55It was fantastic.
40:57Should we talk about Bishme?
40:58Bishme gave us a moment.
41:00We're asking them to give us peacocking menswear.
41:04He did that with a capital P.
41:05I love the color.
41:07I still wanted one element to go away.
41:11That hat.
41:12For the runway, you need to get the attention of the audience,
41:18and this hat is an accessory just to do that, right?
41:22I could see Bishme putting on a runway show.
41:26Agree.
41:27I still did not like the hat.
41:28Should we talk about Brittany?
41:30You guys, I think Brittany's hitting her stride.
41:32It feels so good to watch a designer come on this show
41:36and just listen to the feedback and just get better and better and better,
41:40and that's what we're seeing from Brittany.
41:42It's folded in together to tell a cohesive story.
41:44And I agree with what you said, Elaine.
41:46To see her pushing herself and coming out with something great is exciting.
41:50But it is a bit referential.
41:52We've seen that pant in another fabric.
41:56The look has been done.
41:58So do we all know who our winner is?
42:00We all agree?
42:01All right.
42:02There's two designers that are in the bottom, Proget and Laurence.
42:07Proget's look, the story was really confusing to me.
42:11It wasn't my favorite look.
42:13I wouldn't know what I was trying to do on this carpet.
42:15I absolutely agree.
42:17And nothing in the year of 2023 has offended Nina Garcia more
42:22than this gold mesh turtleneck.
42:25Copper.
42:26It was so weird.
42:27But it wasn't even pink.
42:28The combination of colors here was so odd.
42:32Which is so strange because he's a painter.
42:34It was just a case of everything gone wrong.
42:38I'm not sure what happened to the Proget who was such a confident artist
42:44and designer who gave us complete looks.
42:47I think he's so in his head about the feedback that he's gotten that he's lost.
42:51He has done some incredibly dramatic looks.
42:56But can we talk about Laurence?
42:58No drama at all.
42:59What happened?
43:00The proportion of the vest that looked like a midriff and the low-cut skirt.
43:07There's no pop to it, right?
43:09Yeah, you're right.
43:10There is no peacocking.
43:11There's no peacocking here.
43:12Thank you for focusing us.
43:13It's like, please don't look at me.
43:14Although I might be going to the leather bar after with this.
43:18But I want to add one thing about Laurence and Proget.
43:21They both actually said the same thing.
43:23They would say, well, I like it.
43:24I like the look.
43:25It shouldn't just necessarily be about what you like.
43:28It's about the task at hand.
43:30All right, so do we all know who's going home?
43:32Unfortunately, yeah.
43:33We have our final four.
43:36Let's get them back out here.
43:38Designers, tonight we decide the final four.
43:44But only one of you can be the winner and take home $5,000 tonight.
43:49Woo!
43:51Bishme, Rami, Brittany, one of you
43:55will be the winner of this challenge.
43:57The winning look was completely original
44:00and elevated male peacocking to a whole new level.
44:07The winner is Rami.
44:14Woo!
44:15Congratulations.
44:16Thank you so much.
44:18Finally.
44:19Have you not won a challenge?
44:20Nothing.
44:21Well, tonight's the night.
44:23Rami, how does it feel?
44:25It feels amazing, especially during something
44:27that's outside of my comfort zone.
44:29And this amazing man with us, I'm honored.
44:32Well, congratulations, Rami.
44:34It's very exciting when Nina Garcia, who has seen everything,
44:39has not seen a look before.
44:45Bishme and Brittany, you are also in.
44:48All three of you can leave the runway.
44:50Thank you so much.
44:53Nice meeting you.
44:54Nice meeting you.
44:55Nice to meet you too, friend.
45:00Praje and Laurence, one of you will be in
45:04and one of you will be out.
45:09Laurence, your design was too reserved
45:12and we felt like it was two looks that did not come together.
45:17Praje, your color story and fabric choice were confusing
45:23and there were too many ideas that did not go your way.
45:31I'm very sorry to say this, but...
45:37Praje, you are out.
45:42Laurence, that means you are in.
45:44Okay, thank you.
45:46That's my baby.
45:49I had an incredible time here.
45:51I have found myself and I love him.
45:53I love the look.
45:54I understand where it went wrong and you'll see it again.
45:58I probably will be wearing it.
46:02What I've always loved about you is your very joyful disposition.
46:07It's really great to watch you take feedback in stride.
46:12And that is what is going to continue to make you successful.
46:14We saw incredible work from you and you are truly an all-star.
46:19Thank you, Praje.
46:21You all can leave the runway.
46:26I am extremely grateful to be in the top five.
46:29I know I wanted to show a collection.
46:32I know I wanted to go for the grand prize money,
46:34but I feel like I've already won.
46:37You are amazing.
46:38Oh my God, understatement of the century.
46:40I am truly in honor to be here with you guys,
46:43creating with you guys, laughing with you guys.
46:45This was the best part of this whole thing for me.
46:48I have absolutely no regrets at all this season.
46:51I am super, super proud of every single piece of clothing that I've created here.
46:55Praje.
46:56Hi, Christian.
46:58Hi.
46:59My artist.
47:01So amazing.
47:03You drive me crazy.
47:04I do.
47:05Now I'm going to haunt you in your dreams.
47:06You are.
47:08But I love what comes out of that brain and mind of yours.
47:11It's incredible, and I can't wait to see what you do next.
47:15Yeah.
47:16I have to send you to the work room to clean up your space.
47:18Cheers, babe.
47:19We're going to miss you.
47:20So long, you farewell.
47:22I came here.
47:24His Majesty, the Prince Praje, and I'm walking out the same way,
47:27with my head held high, with my dignity intact, and my integrity,
47:32and that's the most important thing for me.
47:35Next on Project Runway All Stars.
47:37Whoa, this is amazing.
47:39Your challenge is to be inspired by the architectural masterpiece around you
47:44and create an avant-garde look worthy of the finale.
47:49Do you think you could push this a little bit more?
47:52So the skirt will have some transparency in it,
47:54and I want to have the strips going through it.
47:56What?
47:57I'm a little nervous.
47:59It's a mess for me.
48:01This isn't avant-garde at all.
48:07Avant-garde.
