32:44How do you feel?
32:45I feel good.
32:47Romance was in the air in the design
32:49in spite of the sweat and the sewing,
32:52and the very short time window.
32:54It's like you walked right into mood
32:56and just chose every wrong thing that went right.
33:02Tell us about your look.
33:04The idea was to exude sexiness and femininity
33:07and something light, but at the same time
33:09with the edge of the metal detail.
33:11I was highly impressed by the craftsmanship of the skirt.
33:15There was very little puckering.
33:16I think it's amazing what you did in 12 hours
33:20because I know how hard that fabric is just to even cut.
33:23Yes.
33:25It's kind of like a whisper of lingerie.
33:27Yes.
33:28The sense of a boudoir,
33:29but it's not hitting you over the head.
33:32This is effortless,
33:33and that's something that's missing
33:35from the lingerie market.

33:39Unfortunately, the next look was one of our least favorites.
33:46Fabio, tell us about your look.
33:48This is my home fabric. I bought this from Brazil.
33:50I wanted to play with blurring gender lines,
33:52basically ideas that would go together,
33:55but then clashing between the male and the female.
33:57The fabric specifically make me feel a little bit
34:00like I'm looking at a shower curtain caught in a fishing net.
34:05I love the nod to lingerie.
34:08It's like a boxer short with a brief.
34:11I just feel like maybe if we lost the stomach piece,
34:13we would be having a different conversation.
34:15It could have been this really beautiful coat
34:18over something that's really overtly sexy.
34:21I got it.
34:22Can you lift up the little stomach piece?
34:25Yeah, I just want to cut that off.
34:26Me too, because that's so dope.
34:29Okay, so the underwear is the undergarment, correct?
34:31Okay. Nina is not here this evening.
34:33I know she has told you to turn up the volume.

34:38There's a lot of volume here,
34:40and I think she would have told you now at this point to edit.
34:43The short was the star.
34:45Unfortunately, the star was covered by so many things
34:47that I didn't know what it was.

34:54one of our favorite looks of the night.
35:03Praja, you have been in the top four out of the six challenges.
35:08Most of the things you're seeing right now
35:10are things I've learned from my season 19
35:12that I've went home and kind of expand on.
35:14Every time you say something to me, I take notes.
35:16I take notes from everybody's critiques, top and bottoms.
35:19Trying to not be in the bottom. Tell us about your look.
35:23So my look was inspired by the boyfriend shirt,
35:26but the girlfriend's corset.
35:28And of course, he's a cool guy, probably have a bike,
35:31and he has this cool bomber jacket.
35:33It was so wonderfully gender neutral,
35:36and yet it had all the elements of gender.
35:39And that, to me, is a statement.
35:43These are all pieces that we've seen before,
35:46but you understand what you do well,
35:49and you figure out ways to remix it and keep it fresh.
35:53This is what happens when styling goes right.
35:55I love the idea of the corset with the kilt,
35:59with the showing underwear.
36:00It spoke to an urban sensibility,
36:03but back to a high fashion sensibility,
36:05which I think is very current.

36:22I always build my designs
36:24based on a fashion narrative and a story.
36:27I was thinking 1920s and the Tulsa massacres
36:30and Black Wall Street.
36:32I was thinking of how strong Black women in that era were,
36:36and they had their own businesses,
36:38and how beautiful the fashion was.
36:40Oh.
36:42Just the restraint and the luxeness of the look
36:47when it came out.
36:48You made that panty out of silk wool,
36:50which has absolutely no stretch in it,
36:53and it lays like it's a spandex panty.
36:56I love when a designer takes a chance on a color
36:59that, like, shows everything.
37:02This was in a league of its own.
37:03I love the Tulsa inspiration.

37:46I wanted to make a suit and play with the bomber,
37:51and the lingerie part of it is the corset
37:54and a boxer brief top.
37:56It's not bad at all.
37:57I felt like it wasn't a shining moment for you.
38:01I don't know whether that be the fabrication choice
38:03or the color choice,
38:05but I would wear the suit, you know what I mean?
38:07The undergarment part was like sort of an afterthought.

38:14I love the critiques with you, Laurence,
38:16because every time you're, like, asking a question,

38:53So, this is not my original look.
38:55About an hour before we ended last night,
38:58I had to edit a look, so it was that pivot moment.
39:02What can you do in five hours to save the look
39:04and still do what you're supposed to do?
39:06I kind of love what's going on with a skirt.
39:08I think that the folding and the draping
39:10is really interesting, and the fabric, a joy of life.
39:13And then I get to the top, and I go, huh?
39:17For a challenge that's really about focusing
39:20on the undergarment and making the undergarment the star,
39:23it's hard to ignore that the top feels ill-fitting.
39:27It's unfortunate because that's where your eye
39:29immediately goes, and it felt overwhelming.
39:37The top feels ill-fitting.
39:39It was that pivot moment.
39:40What can you do in five hours to save the look
39:42and still do what you're supposed to do?
39:44It isn't something that I haven't seen before.
39:48It just wasn't that innovative, really.
39:50Have I done better? Yes, I've done greater.
39:52The outfit maybe didn't make the mark today,
39:54but it doesn't mean I'm not the bomb.
39:55I am. I'm everything.
39:57Watching Project Runway, I was in college the first season,
40:00and seeing you, seeing Karrasun, it gave me a light
40:05because there was none of us in this industry,
40:08nobody that looked like me was doing it.
40:10So to see you on the stage, it just brings me so much joy
40:14because I know Sergio wouldn't be able to sit here
40:16and be a judge if I didn't see you on the show.

41:21The undergarment was perfectly visible underneath it all.

41:26Rami went right tonight, I think,
41:28because he took the idea of the undergarment
41:32and showed it to us in a way that we hadn't seen,
41:34and it also was a very wearable garment.

41:40I think so.
41:42All right, let's move on to the tough part,
41:45which is to choose who will be going home tonight.

41:49This hurts because I think there's aspects of this
41:52that I thought were fabulous, but I guess Fabio.
41:56There were really great elements there.
41:58It was just too many things piled on top of each other,
42:02and you couldn't see the main ingredient
42:03for what the challenge was.

42:05I 100% agree.
42:06I had to sit back and go, oh, that was pre-made fabric.
42:10Also, it was not Coteau's night either.
42:13All the motivational speaking aside,
42:16that bra was ill-fitting and the cups were lopsided.
42:20The skirt was tacked and gathered.
42:22It was very reliant on the fabric,
42:24and I don't know that the design really said anything.
42:28I feel like Coteau's look was uninspired.

42:42She took a basic corset waist cincher
42:44and put it on a beautiful suit.

42:59Fabio is, he is a brilliant designer,
