00:00We were attending the parade with the family and we were walking up the street there,
00:06seeing the ambulance protecting the fans.
00:10A car came round the corner through the crowd at quite considerable speed,
00:17hitting young people, fans.
00:21And then we seen the Liverpool supporters jumping on top of the car,
00:24being heroic, pushing us to the side because we were in the path of the oncoming car.
00:30But the Liverpool people were fantastic.
00:33They tried to stop the car, they got the car to a standstill,
00:36protected people and then they continued down the street, pushing people to the side.
00:40So it would have been a lot more serious incident without the Liverpool supporters.
00:46You say it just passed you by inches. What happened after it passed you? What did you hear?
00:51We just heard panic, screaming, commotion. No one knew what was going on.
00:54Was something else going to happen?
00:57All the supporters worked together, pushed everyone to the side on footpaths.
01:01Restaurant doors were open, pushed people in.
01:04So it was just really the Liverpool people should be very proud of themselves.

01:10Yeah, we're feeling good. We woke up this morning.
01:12We had a fantastic day yesterday in Liverpool.
01:15It has overshadowed slightly but I think the one thing that people have to take from this
01:20is that the Liverpool people, Liverpool fans all over the world stood together
01:24in the moment of crisis and they stood up to it.
01:28We are for many years to see Liverpool matches.
01:30And the Liverpool people are wonderful people.
01:32They are so helpful looking for bosses back and they really stood up yesterday
01:36and the public helped us by pushing us out of the way.
01:39And they were amazing, the people only for them.
01:41They should be proud of themselves.
