00:00The final person receiving hospital treatment following the scenes which followed the Liverpool FC title parade last month has been discharged.
00:08Emergency services were called to Water Street in Liverpool City Centre on May 26th with 50 people being taken to hospital after a car drove into a crowd of fans.
00:18Medside Police have now confirmed all those who'd received NHS care had been permitted to return home.
00:23The region's most senior officer, Chief Constable Serena Kennedy, confirmed the majority of people injured had already been discharged when she addressed a scrutiny panel last month.
00:35A total of 113 confirmed crimes are being investigated as part of the distressing scenes over the bank holiday weekend.
00:43Chief Constable Kennedy said officers who responded to the scene had done an outstanding job and praised all those on duty, particularly those who were injured, in the course of protecting the public.
00:55More than 100 pedestrians aged from 9 to 78 were injured during the incident.
01:01Paul Doyle of Beghill Road West Derby has since been charged with a series of alleged offences in relation to the incident.
01:07The 53-year-old appeared before both Liverpool Magistrates and Liverpool Crown Court in order to face these charges.
01:15A trial date's now been scheduled for November 24th this year, provisionally lasting three to four weeks.
01:21A plea hearing is also scheduled for August 14th.
01:25A fundraising campaign to support the victim surpassed £100,000.
01:29The Liverpool Spirit Appeal is led by the Community Foundation for Merseyside in partnership with Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services.
01:37The money raised will provide support to those affected by what happened here on Water Street.
