We went out into Manchester to ask a few people some of the questions in a UK citizenship test to see how well they’d do.

00:03today. I won't ramble on for too long because we've got a couple of citizenship questions
00:07that we want to ask the people of Manchester, see whether they would be able to pass a citizenship
00:12test to be a UK resident.
00:15Which of these are the Crown dependencies?
00:17We've got A, St Helena and the Falkland Islands, B, Ireland and the Channel Islands, C, St Helena
00:24and Wales, or D, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
00:29I mean, the Falklands, you know, got on them, but let's go C.
00:35C is incorrect, it was the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
00:38This is not going well.
00:39Oh, D, the Isle of Man.
00:41And the Isle of Man, yeah, that's correct as well.
00:44What proportion of the population died because of the Black Death?
00:47Is it a fifth, a fourth, a third or a half?
00:52A third.
00:53Bang on, yes, we're playing for 50%.
00:55We did pretty well.
