00:00There's definitely, I think, some residues from the apartheid regime.

00:04There are some issues that need to be addressed, notably the issue of land ownership, redistribution of wealth and so on.

00:12Also some, you know, racial anger or racial divisions that are still maybe there and visible,

00:18especially when we have a party like the EFF that you mentioned, still gather a lot of votes and a lot of support

00:24and is one of the big parties in the parliament.

00:26So there's definitely an issue.

00:28And we saw one of the members of the South African team who was in the White House,

00:35who is also, it seems, a friend of Trump and who lives regularly in the U.S.

00:39Sorry, I forgot the name.

00:41But he mentioned that it's been 35 years since the transition.

00:44And we still didn't see the change that we hoped we would like to see.

00:48So definitely there are some things that need to be addressed.

00:51But on the other hand, that video that Trump showed about, you know, thousands of white crosses and people paying homage,

00:58I'm not even sure if that's from South Africa.

01:00I doubt it is.

01:01And I think it's going to be a big scandal when we realize the video was not from South Africa.

01:06So Trump is taking things in his own way, in his, between brackets, unprofessional or not politically correct way.

01:13And he's pushing for things where, I guess, the South Africans and the world knows that we do have a problem

01:19and we need to address it, but not in this way and not at the expense of other major issues and concerns that need to be discussed.
