00:00We just saw Donald Trump there, and he played that video to Cyril Ramaphosa,
00:05obviously saying, dim the lights.
00:08What did you make of the talks between the two leaders?
00:12And did you feel this was an ambush?
00:14First, we need to see that this is becoming a trend for Trump.
00:18This is becoming his style, to have heads of states there
00:21and then really go at them and embarrass them in front of the media.
00:26And it's becoming more and more prepared.
00:28So now we've seen he has the video, he has the articles and so on.
00:33So it's becoming a bit too much, definitely.
00:36But on the other hand, if we know what's going to happen, how can we call it an ambush?
00:40President Cyril should have been prepared, like every president who goes to the White House.
00:46They should have expected this, and they should have adopted different ways of speaking and of addressing the issues.
00:54He definitely tried to say, OK, this is an issue that we will discuss.
00:58We recognize that there's an issue, but we also see that you are misinformed on some issues he tried to clarify,
01:05but still it was not enough.
01:07And the discussion went in all different directions.
01:10It didn't really give enough space for the South African president to express himself and to explain the situation properly.
