00:00Bristol Rovers head coach Darrell Clark has made clear that he has unfinished business at the club,
00:05which was part of the reason that he returned to manage them in League 2 with the aim of getting them back to League 1.
00:12A dream of mine is to try and get this club into the Championship.
00:15Now that's very much easier said than done.
00:18I've been going back to starting into League 2 but it's still a dream and why can't I build another legacy?
00:23Why can't we get this place rocking, which I know we can, and build that together?
00:29But with that comes a lot of hard work, a lot of hard work and it doesn't happen overnight.
00:35That work's already started and it's going to be a continuing progress because that's what football clubs are about.
00:41And if you want to get to the levels that we want to get to, that I want to get to, we need to get work in a way.
00:48So definitely unfinished business.
00:50The game's about winning and what I know of the supporters of this club is that they give you a great opportunity for you to perform on a Saturday.
00:57I said it the other day that we could be in games, one game not played particularly well, got beat, the fans will be giving the players and myself a bit of stick.
01:05The next game, as long as they put the performances right, they'll be right behind you and that's all you can ever ask from your fan base.
01:11And Bristol City head coach Liam Manning has reflected on some of the memories created during the most recent Championship season.
01:18It's a brand new experience for a lot of people.
01:21I think, you know, I've sat with the lads to do their meetings today, you know, Zach, Max, Pringy, some of the guys that have been here a while have felt the pain that I think a lot of people have felt.
01:29And, you know, when you look at some of the experiences we've had, you know, Leeds away, like a phenomenal experience, you know, against such a high level opposition, you know, the pressure of that week when we played, you know, West Brom and Watford and Sunderland teams around us, you know, to then the final day against Preston, knowing that, you know, it was in our hands whether we could do it there.
01:48They're brand new experiences for a lot of the lads and, you know, they're ultimately only going to be better players for, you know, for going through it and, you know, hopefully be able to recall it on it again in the future.
01:56Just a huge thank you from me, from everybody at the club, I think a huge thank you.
02:02Yeah, it's not easy being a football fan the same as it's not easy being a, you know, a coach, a player because the game's about emotions and the rollercoaster we go through on those.
02:12But hopefully we've created some special memories from this season.
