00:00The UK suspending trade talks with Israel and summoning the ambassador over the cruel aid
00:07blockade. Is this too little too late from the UK government? It does seem very late indeed. I
00:14think there's a huge amount of patience that's been extended to Israel. After all, they were
00:20the ones that were originally attacked. That barbaric episode with the Hamas, so many killings,
00:27hostages still there as well. But ultimately, we're seeing that the military gains on the
00:34battlefield are not translating into any form of strategy to take the Gaza Strip, indeed resolving
00:41the Palestinian situation forward at all. And I'm pleased that Britain, France and other countries
00:48have stepped forward. I believe that this is Israel taking advantage, perhaps, of America stepping back
00:56from its role as arbiters on the international stage, as custodians, if you like, of global
01:02order. Trump has taken less interest in standing up to aggression, wherever it might be, and
01:10certainly when it's come to Netanyahu. And I'm therefore pleased that other nations are working
01:17together to stand up, because what we're seeing has been wrong, completely wrong, in the devastation
01:23that has been taken place in the pursuit of Hamas. So this is the right call. But as you say,
01:29it's taken some time to get to.
