00:00Well, I don't agree with those at all. We condemn in the fullest possible terms the murder of the Israeli diplomats in the United States.
00:06But we've also been making the case that the best way to achieve peace in the Middle East is for a lasting peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.
00:16That means an immediate ceasefire being restored in Gaza. It means Hamas immediately releasing the hostages.
00:23And it means massive amounts of aid flowing into the people of Gaza who are really suffering at the moment.
00:31International aid should never be used as a weapon of war.
00:35And the case that's been made by the UK Prime Minister and our international allies this week is one that actually would support peace in the Middle East,
00:44would support Israel being strong and secure and would support the Palestinian people being free from violence,
00:51free from the terrorism of Hamas as well, and getting the aid that they need to be able to survive.
