00:00And Gemma, the UK government has condemned this newly announced West Bank expansion, haven't they?
00:07What more have we heard?
00:09I think they've had a shame on this one with regards to the UK.
00:13Yeah, they did come out and they have condemned it.
00:17And a lot of other countries have sort of followed suit, including Ireland,
00:21which has always been sort of staunchly pro-Palestine and has recognised the Palestinian state
00:27and was one of the first countries to do that.
00:30And even though Ireland is quite a small country, even not on the scale of the UK,
00:35they do have a lot of sway in Europe.
00:37And the Irish deputy prime minister was coming out quite aggressively,
00:44giving out about both the settlement and the aid issues.
00:48So I think if they start seeing sort of a backlash from the European Union,
00:54then I think that may have some sway in sort of Israel.
00:59But I think unless Hamas backs it, then it's just all immaterial, really.
