00:00Are there people in Israel who feel that this ceasefire was premature and that perhaps there was still some fighting to be done?
00:08Well, that's always the case. And sure, there were some people who felt that way.
00:13But I don't think that either the government or the IDF felt that way.
00:17They wanted to bring the war to an end, both to, let's say, locking the achievements that had been made.
00:25In war, you never know what might happen, what might go wrong.
00:30So there was that dimension to it.
00:33There was the fact that the home front in Israel was taking a hit and the government wanted to end that as quickly as possible.
00:42And then, of course, there was American pressure to do so.
00:45So there wasn't much pressure that I can think of from anyone in Israel to continue much more.
