Two rehabilitated sea turtles have been released into the ocean in southern Taiwan after months of treatment.

The Olive Ridley sea turtles were treated at the National Museum of Biology and Aquarium Rescue Center.

One was accidentally caught by fishers near the southern port city of Kaohsiung, and the other was found floating off the coast of Penghu.

To date, the rescue center has helped over a hundred sea turtles return to their ocean home.
