A pair of three-year-old twin girls suffered minor injuries in a collision involving two vehicles at KM351.7 northbound of the North-South Expressway near Tapah on Tuesday (May 20).

The crash involved a limestone-laden container lorry and a sports utility vehicle (SUV).

00:18and an SUV. Preliminary findings indicate the northbound lorry suffered a burst tire,
00:24causing the driver to lose control. The lorry then skidded and overturned onto
00:29the opposite lane where it was hit by an SUV that couldn't avoid it in time
00:34and was dragged along. The lorry driver and the SUV's passengers escaped unhurt.
00:40However, two children who were passengers in the car, both age three, reportedly sustained
00:46minor injuries and have received further treatment. Plus announced that a vehicle removal diversion
00:52is in place and advised motorists to exit via the Soongkai or Slim River Toll Plaza.
