Three children and a school van driver were injured when their vehicle was involved in an accident in a trailer lorry near the Bandar Dato' Onn exit, on the southbound PLUS Highway in Johor on Monday (July 7).

00:20Tebrau Fire and Rescue Station Operations Commander Muhammad Azizi Zakaria said the 32-year-old
00:27lorry driver and 19 other children were reported to be safe. He said the department received an
00:33emergency call at about 1.10 p.m., and a team was deployed to the scene. Upon arrival, the team
00:40found a total of 24 individuals involved in the crash. A male student, two female students, and the
00:4745-year-old van driver sustained injuries. Firefighters used special rescue equipment to safely extricate
00:55the trapped victims from the wreckage. All four injured individuals were transported to
01:00Hospital Sultan Ismail for further treatment.
