00:00My role is as a party president and it is my view that the party room that we
00:06see that I have sat in that Michael sits in and that I preside over with respect
00:11to being the federal president has no conflict within it. There is no conflict
00:17in the nationals room. We are there every single one of us or these guys are there
00:23every single one of them plus the the branches and organization that I
00:27represent as president. We are all there for one purpose. That purpose is to
00:33ensure the sustainability, the opportunities, the prosperity and living
00:39standards for rural, regional and remote people. There is no conflict. We don't have
00:45city people sitting in our party room. It's about there is no conflict on what we
00:49stand for. This is not about us needing to have a full rethink. We understand what
00:55our policies are. The party room has met. They have agreed on those policies as
01:00Michael has indicated and also agreed to re to investigate other issues of concern
01:07that were raised during this last election. But we do we actually won the
01:13election for our people that voted for us. We won those seats back. I feel that we
01:19need to ensure that we are not taken off on a different pathway of trying to
01:25reassess where we are, where our values are. Our values are very clear. They're in the
01:29party room. They're not that there's no conflict. And so we need to be
01:35accountable and go strongly forward with the views of rural, regional, remote
01:40Australians and hold them and hold the Labour government accountable. That is our
01:45role. That is what we've just been elected to do. That is what every member was
01:48returned to do and seats were transitioned to return to do. It is our
01:53responsibility to stay firm, to stay focused and to hold this Labour
01:58government to account. And I support Michael in every which way that he
02:03intends to do that. And this this decision today, as he said, has not been
02:07taken lightly, but it is decision that has been taken. And now we move positively
02:12forward and we're on the march to go and do that representation and also hear and
02:17listen to those in rural, regional, remote communities as to what it is that that is
02:22in addition to their issues that they have in those in those areas. So thank you
02:28very much.
