00:00Hello and welcome to What's On in Wigan. There is a family to fun day being held at Byron Hall in

00:05Lowton on August 2nd. There will be a fun dog show with prizes, kids games, live music, bar and food,

00:12over 30 craft stalls and more. It starts at 11am. Sherrington Garden Club Show is returning for the

00:1941st time. Apart from the obvious classes that may be found at horticultural shows such as

00:25fruit, vegetables and flowers, there is something for everyone to have a go at. There are domestic

00:30classes, arts and craft classes and much more. This year's show takes place on Saturday August 2nd

00:36at Sheffington Methodist Church. It opens to the public at 1pm but there will be refreshments

00:42available from 11am. Why not join Be Well Wigan at Haywoodland Park on Sunday August 3rd as they

00:49walk for a world without dementia. The event is free and suitable for all with two walks to choose

00:55from depending on your ability. A short accessible walk around the park or a 5km walk around the

01:01surrounding area. There will also be a fun orienteering challenge for kids, forget me not

01:06face painting and live entertainment. Both walks will begin at 11am and you can register on the day

01:12or via the Be Well app. And finally Hindley Rose presents its annual summer fair. There will be raffle

01:19prizes, bouncy castle, sweet stall, face painting, trampolines, name the teddy, party dancing and

01:25much more. It takes place at phone base in Henley on Sunday August 3rd from 12pm.
