00:00Hello and welcome to What's On in Wigan. Team Wigan and Lee is hosting a golf day and evening mixer to raise money for Wigan and Lee Hospice, Daftal Streams and The Brick.
00:10The golf day, which is already sold out, will be followed by the Courtyard Moonlight Mixer from 5pm until 10.30pm.
00:16The evening will feature live entertainment and attendees can also enjoy a raffle, auction and food and drink available for purchase.
00:23It takes place on Friday, June 20th at Haywoodland Park with more details available online.
00:28The biggest event in Sheffington is back. The Sheffington Fit returns on Saturday, June 21st and there is something for the whole family.
00:37There will be arts and crafts, food and drink, petting zoo, bubbles, inflatables and much more. It runs from 11am until 5pm.
00:46The Pennington Flash Memory Walk takes place on Sunday, June 22nd.
00:51The event is a fundraising walk for the Alzheimer's Society with two walking options, a 5km stroll and a shorter accessible route.
00:58Registration is free and there are additional activities like an Orienteering Challenge for Kids and Forget Me Not Face Painting.

01:09And finally, Averton Carnival returns on Sunday, June 22nd.
01:15There will be a fun-filled afternoon on the fields with stores, live music, food and drink, fun fair, entertainment and more.
01:21The event starts with a parade of the town followed by an afternoon of three festivities at Averton Meadowbank playing fields and it starts at 11.30am.
