00:00My name is Ted and my background is construction. I'm a joiner by trade, although I'm better known as a multi-trader because I dip my fingers in most trades within construction.
00:11I retired at the beginning of lockdown simply because I was a maintenance joiner at that time and people didn't want me in their homes.
00:20Then I began to get bored and I came across TIB simply by chance and I was interested in helping out in schools simply because that is my nature. I like helping people.
00:35The beauty of working for TIB is that schools always need somebody who's got an ability to do more than just clean the bins or clean the floors.
00:45Flexible work was a priority in as much as that I do other things. I have grandchildren. I do the school run. I walk the dog.
