00:00The main motivation I think for candidates wanting to join TIB is that

00:05they feel they're doing something positive within their local communities.

00:08Most of them have had a long working career and they're at a point in their

00:13lives now where they want to give something back to the local community

00:16and they feel they can do that by supporting schools.

00:19Appreciation. I find it totally rewarding that I am appreciated.

00:25One day I was emptying a bin and there was a bar of chocolate with a note in it

00:31saying thank you so much for the work that you do. What else can I say?

00:36That alone makes me want to continue doing the job.

00:41It comes from the teachers and mainly from the children because you build a rapport up with them

00:48and they know that you fix things around the school.

00:52Even the parents have come up to me when they've been dropping their children off to school

00:57and say, are you Jeff? And I say, yes. I've heard so much about you.

01:03So it's really rewarding to know that you're making a difference.

01:09So it's a great experience.

01:10There's a big difference.

01:13That's all that's important.

01:15And then you should see the person who's in the world,

01:18and you're making a difference while you're making a difference.

01:20It's a very powerful memory.

01:21But I love this achievement.
