00:00Hello, so I'm Mr. Kilburn. We're here at Beaker View Primary School in Wellington for our annual careers fair where we invite in local people from the community to come and talk to our children all the way from year one up to year six about their careers, their professions and how the steps they need to take to get there.
00:18So we've got some children here who are going to be experiencing the careers fair today. So if you could tell us children a little bit about what you'd like to do when you get older.
00:27I want to be a journalist.
00:28A journalist. So we've got a journalist in the room today, so that would be great if we could have some time to get in with her. Riley?
00:34I want to be a bricklayer.
00:36A bricklayer. Wonderful. Okay. Lucas?
00:39I'd like to be a farmer.
00:40You'd like to be a farmer.
00:42Luckily we do have a farmer in the room here today as well. He'll be able to speak to you about that.
00:46I'm a midwife. I'm a midwife.
00:49We do have a midwife. Wonderful. And we do have a nurse over there who might be able to give you some ideas about that. Wonderful. Thank you to you as well.
