00:00So my name is Nicola Braford, I'm Executive Head of Priest Church of England Primary School.
00:05Amazing. You guys had a recent visit from Ofsted, am I right? The Ofsted inspector put in their
00:11report that you accurately described yourself as a happy school where everyone matters. Do you want
00:15to just tell me why you think that might have been? We have a diverse catchment of children,
00:20but we have an amazing catchment of children, an amazing catchment of families. Our children are
00:27just so fantastic and embrace every opportunity that school holds and educational visits hold
00:34and they just love their school, which I hope you'll see today when they chat with you.
00:39Amazing. And you're in such a picturesque location. Would you describe yourself as like the quintessential
00:45village school? Absolutely, but we're very much an integral part of our community. Our community,
00:52we rely on them to support us, but we are part of that community. So we do things like trails
00:58around the village for the whole community. The church is very, very, very conveniently next
01:04to us. We have our own door into the church, which is known as a school door, and just very
01:10much part of our community.
