We thought there was a bed bug infestation at the station. Kathy loses her mind.

00:00There was an email that was sent out that we were going to have to have our studios checked

00:06because there may have been bed bugs brought into the area.

00:12And we've had everything checked out.

00:14They actually just brought a dog in to sniff.

00:16Yeah, I think it was Jack Russell is what it looked like.

00:19Josie was her name.

00:20Josie is the dog.

00:21And there's no bed bugs.

00:23Well, no, that's not true.

00:25There were on a chair.

00:26Oh, was there?

00:26Yes.

00:27Oh, okay.

00:28Oh, yeah, it was sort of like a warm zone or something.

00:31That's what I call my chairs at home.

00:33I think what everybody was worried about was an infestation,

00:36which I guess is not the case if it was just on the chair.

00:41The rest of the place is apparently clean.

00:43Josie scoured our studio and nothing.

00:46And I'm never coming back again.

00:47You would have thought there was a radiation leak here.

00:49Yeah.

00:51So I never told my wife that there was a bed bug.

00:54She wouldn't have let you go to work.

00:56That was the first thing I told my wife, and I started laughing.

00:58Because, listen, I'm surprised that's all we have.

01:02They're ripping the entire building apart, walls that haven't been opened up in years.

01:07I imagine at night there must be a big vermin hoedown when we leave.

01:12Because you walk around, there's this cavern.

01:14There's like a wall that will disappear.

01:19You walk down one hall, it's 11 degrees.

01:21And then the next hall, it's 1,400 degrees.

01:23There's also, it's a whole new environment.

01:25It's like you're on some spaceship that's just, you know, morphing all the time.

01:29And that's what this is.

01:30Well, I'm just glad that they alerted us to it.

01:33Because during some of the construction, apparently they were removing asbestos and nobody ever

01:37told us.

01:37Well, that's when that wall went up down at the end of the hallway.

01:40And I almost walked into that wall.

01:43That's how quickly it went up.

01:44I started to turn down and go down to what I thought was Chuck's office down the hall that

01:48used to exist.

01:49Looney Tunes.

01:50And there was a wall.

01:51So my wife will, when we go check into a hotel, it's always the same situation.

01:57We open the door, we shut the door, we leave our bags right at the door while she goes and

02:02strips all the beds and looks through all the furniture for bed bugs.

02:05She's like, definitely.

02:06She's fanatical.

02:07So before you guys even enter the room, there's an inspection.

02:09We have to leave our bags at the door.

02:11I really wanted to come in in a hazmat suit or some sort of bubble, but I couldn't find

02:16anything.

02:16That would have been awesome.

02:17Yeah.

02:18I'm going through our text chain and I'm like, hey, by the way, this is going on.

02:21I'm not going to tell my wife.

02:22And then Kathy immediately goes from zero to freaking out.

02:25Oh, yeah.

02:25You know, get the F out of here.

02:26I'm not coming into work tomorrow.

02:27Who the F has bed bugs?

02:29Holy F.

02:30No.

02:30Like a thousand exclamation points.

02:32And then she says, do you know how hard it is to get rid of bed bugs?

02:36What's the company going to do about it?

02:38And when?

02:38And then Preston says a gift, a gift.

02:42I'm sorry.

02:42I'm like a bed bug junk band.

02:44Yeah.

02:46And then Kathy fires back.

02:47That's not funny.

02:51I think I said anybody who's not taking this seriously.

02:54And then I think Nick said, read Joe's email.

02:57And then Kathy says, F the email.

03:00F the bed bugs.

03:01And F whoever doesn't think this is a big deal.

03:04Where are we going to do our show tomorrow?

03:07Clearly, we can't go to the station.

03:10And we need an on-site location.

03:11Oh, my house is clean.

03:14She was ready.

03:16We were ready to set up shop somewhere else.

03:18If you guys would have said, yeah, we have to do the show somewhere else, I would offer

03:37The woman was saying that they have dogs that can do all sorts of, that check for bugs

03:43that actually will.

03:45I thought you meant that bed bugs use dogs to travel around.

03:48Well, yeah.
