00:00All right, it is a second date update right now.

00:02We are trying to match Ben back up with Haley.

00:06He had to cut his date short with Haley because his mom actually was in the hospital.

00:11He got a call from his dad.

00:12Yeah, but luckily his mom is okay.

00:14She's doing well now, but he kind of wants to do a do-over, so needs our help because

00:19she's obviously not picking up his phone calls.

00:21Yeah, so we don't know what's going on there.

00:23Kevin was able to track her down, and we do have her on hold, and I think she's a little

00:29hesitant to talk to us, but let's see if we can get some answers out of her.

00:32Haley, are you there?

00:34Yeah, I'm here.

00:35All right, Haley, thank you for hanging on for us.

00:38I know that you talked to Kevin, and you said that you had to get going pretty quick here,

00:44so we'll just try to make it quick.

00:45We heard about your date that you had with Ben, and you guys went to the Brick House,

00:50but it got cut short because Ben had to run because he had an emergency with his family

00:55and with his mom when he got a call from his dad.

00:58And so he really wants to make it up to you and wants to see you again, but he can't

01:03get you on the phone and can't get you set up on another date.

01:05We thought maybe we could help out.

01:07So what's going on?

01:08Why are you not getting back to this guy?

01:09Because it sounded like he was kind of in a tough situation.

01:13I don't think he was having a tough situation.

01:15I don't even believe this guy, and I think the whole thing was like a total BS move.

01:21I have been on many dates where I had someone call me to be like, yo, okay, let's pretend

01:28there was an emergency.

01:45kind of guy this is at this point, so I just wouldn't put it past him.

01:48I can understand why she wouldn't call him back, yeah, I get it.

01:51Well, if she doesn't believe him, I get it.

01:53But here's the thing.

01:54He did call us because he wants to go back out with you, and he needed some help.

01:58Yeah, so we do have him on the phone with us, Haley.

02:24But, Ben, why don't you go ahead and talk to her about, you know, kind of the situation

02:28Well, you know, I was having a great time, and I got the call from my dad, and my mom

02:34was in the hospital, and I had to go.

02:36I mean, that you can't understand that or comprehend that?

02:41I don't understand.

02:42You don't have to come at me with an attitude, so just hold on a second.

02:48Like, it's not that I didn't understand.

02:50I just, I plain thought you were rude.

02:53Like, you were super abrupt.

02:59And, like, jetted out, left me with the bill, which I think was rude, even if you were dealing

03:05with something, and it was really what you say it was, and it wasn't just a lie.

03:09Like, you could have just been like, hey, you know, I'm sorry, I can't get the bill

03:12right now, but, like, I'll pay you back.

03:14Or, you know, throw your, I don't know.

03:17The whole thing was just really weird, and you were rude to me.

03:20Well, I'm sorry, but, you know, if you get a phone call from your father saying your mom's

03:24in the hospital, I don't think you start, you're thinking logically, and you just, like,

03:30Yeah, it seemed like it was kind of a panic situation for him, Haley.

03:37Honestly, um, hello, your dad, hey, I'm with your mom.

03:43I just know things happen, and everyone reacts differently in certain situations, but

03:48I just think, I don't know, you were really rude about it.

04:10Just pick a fight with me on the radio and be rude to me on the radio.
