00:00it is the second date update we just talked to chris he told us about a pretty awesome date that

00:05he went on with lexi checked all the boxes that's what he said he goes uh i'm pretty sure i did

00:09everything correctly he goes and to me i did yeah which was great but that's what everyone says

00:16right like and then you always like there's got to be something right come on think back there's

00:20got to be something that maybe maybe and he's like i don't think so all right so you've gotten

00:26hold of lexi she's on hold all right let's bring her on the conversation right now good morning

00:29lexi how you doing good morning hi i'm good good i appreciate you uh taking our phone call this

00:36morning i know this is uh kind of strange a little bit on a friday but um is it okay if we ask you a

00:40couple of questions we wanted to talk to you about chris i love the station i love i love everything

00:46you guys do so yeah awesome okay well then you probably know what we're gonna ask you about

00:50we're gonna ask you about chris you guys went out on a date and you're kind of blowing them off lexi

00:55we want to know why because we'd like to set you up again okay um first of all i didn't reach back

01:00out to him because he is still totally stuck on his ex he's so into her well what was he saying on

01:09the date how do you know this like okay well first of all it's just a way he's casually keeps mentioning

01:15her he's like talking about her but not talking about her and then also on the date uh he's like

01:22oh you know what we should do we should take a selfie i was like okay because what guy like on a

01:29first date is so into you that he's like let's take a selfie right and and then not many

01:35he's like i was wearing a dress but i was wearing a sweater over it because it was cold

01:42and he's like let's take a selfie oh wait take your sweater off i want people to see your dress

01:47and i was like you want people to see my dress like what people like is this for you or like are you

01:57going to post this online is this like for your social media feed or whatever he was like oh um

02:03yeah well maybe like i was just kind of like okay maybe this guy is just like posting you know

02:09the way he's talking about his ex-girlfriend maybe he's like hoping that she's going to just see him

02:14hanging with the hot girl get jealous or and it just kind of made me suspicious and you know

02:20towards the end of the date he's like next time we should go dancing at saint pete and like go check

02:28out what's going on there you'll wear something really sexy you know those like tight dresses

02:33that girls wear like we can go dancing and i just felt like wait he suggested that you wear

02:39a tight dress yeah first of all like i don't need fashion tips and also like um i just felt like he

02:48wanted to be seen with like a hot girl like i i would be a little suspicious if some guy was like

02:55let's take a selfie and why don't you take the sweater off because i wanted everybody to see you

03:00i mean yeah that's that's kind of strange that's not the first thing guys usually say on a date let's

03:05take a selfie they don't even use the word selfie first of all um thank you it made me feel like an

03:11object like i'm looking for a real relationship i'm not looking just to be like a prop in your

03:16social media feed buddy valid reasons why you wouldn't call me back i i i would be a little

03:21suspicious too um here's the deal chris is on the phone obviously you know if you listen to the show

03:26um and we're gonna bring him back chris so you obviously heard what lexi had to say what's what's

03:31the deal with you and your ex-girlfriend what's going on there let's let's just dive right in

03:35yes uh i i mean yeah i we're done i don't i mean i don't really think about her uh to be honest

03:43it's kind of wild that you know this is what lexi was thinking was happening on the date

03:48but i mean no i i don't care about my ex at all well how long has it been since you guys broke up

03:54uh-huh um it's been oh geez like a month i think now like about a month all right so this

04:03is still new all right so what's the deal are you interested in lexi or are you you want your

04:10ex-girlfriend to see you with lexi no i i'm interested in lexi i don't i don't care about my

04:16ex this has nothing to do with her this is not not trying to evoke any sort of jealousy i this is

04:22what i wanted to say at the start of this call when i realized that he called to make this point

04:29like hello what radio station does his ex listen to right good point oh wow that's a really good

04:36point yeah thank you she's saying it your fans love you we're on to you buddy like hello we love

04:46this radio station but we know that your ex does too who doesn't i see what you're doing and what's

04:53up with you asking her to wear a tight dress you can't do that thank you no i can understand how that

04:59can come off weird i only said it because you know i've been to this place before it that's just kind

05:05of what the outfits everyone wears i mean you know dancing and loose clothing don't really go

05:10together so i mean it's just kind of like you know everyone dresses up nice usually the women

05:14have like dresses on and i didn't think about how it sounded when it came out but that is why i said

05:23it you have a excuse for everything yeah i don't know if it's an excuse or it's just my interpretation

05:29i mean i'm just telling you where my mind is at if you want to think it's an excuse that's fine but

05:35i'm just telling you exactly you know you're asking me a question i'm answering it i don't

05:39know what else to say i'm a little defensive did you i'm being uh i'm being kind of attacked on the

05:46radio and made out to be like a creep or a weirdo who's trying to make his ex jealous so yeah i mean

05:51i'm naturally probably going to get a little defensive because i don't feel any of that i was

05:56just interested i didn't hear from you i think he's protesting too much buddy i don't think so i think

06:03you're looking for an excuse to not go out on a second date when you could just say you don't

06:07want to go out on a second date honestly you know what i did i would have gone out on a second date

06:13with you but at this point no i don't like your attitude and so no i don't want to go on a second

06:18date with you and i'm sure that your ex-girlfriend is hearing this on the radio and she's thinking

06:23oh yeah that's why we broke up i'm out of here hmm well uh chris it doesn't sound like

06:30lexi wants to go back out again um she's got her reasons and at least well now you know i mean

06:35i'm sorry we couldn't help you with a second date with her hey it's fine you know that's the point

06:39of this right figuring it out uh yet again i'm sorry that she feels that way that you know i stand

06:45my ground none of those reasons are why i did anything i did think what you want to think i don't

06:50give i don't care about my ex-girlfriend it's not about her sorry but don't care if she's listening or

06:57not could care less honestly okay all right all right chris well thanks so much for uh calling in
