00:00We just talked to Justin about his date with Stephanie. Looks like they went down to Bella

00:03Brava and had a great dinner. He said he can't get a hold of her. He's been trying to reach out

00:09to her and for some reason now she's not responding to him. But Kevin, it seems like you got her on

00:14the phone right away, right? I do have her on the phone. All right, so let's bring her on right now

00:17and we'll see what she has to say. Good morning, Steph. How are you? Well, good morning. I'm doing

00:22pretty well. Well, thanks for coming on the air with us. We do appreciate it. We just want to

00:26talk to you about this date that you went on with Justin. It sounded like you guys had a pretty

00:30awesome date, but Justin's trying to get a hold of you to go out on another date and you're not

00:35picking up. You're not responding to him. What happened on the date? Oh, yeah. So, well, we were

00:42talking for a bit and really getting along pretty well and so we went out on this date and I was

00:49really looking forward to it, but I noticed that he was like constantly distracted and then I went

00:56into the restroom and he was like on his phone and he just seemed very distracted and he kept

01:01picking up the phone and looking at it and I'm like, are you okay? Is things okay? And I kept

01:07feeling like maybe something was wrong and we should reschedule and I asked him that actually. He's like,

01:12oh, no, no, everything's fine. And then finally, I actually came out and asked him, why do you keep

01:18looking at your phone? And he said, oh, it's just this game I play. I have this game that I played

01:23and so I asked him some questions about it and I was trying not to be too invasive, you know, people

01:28do their thing or whatever and, you know, then he started telling me that he plays this gambling game

01:34a lot. So, he's playing a game while he's on a date with you? Yeah, he was playing this game and

01:40then, but then he got into, because I was just saying to him questions and I said, oh, did you spend a lot

01:44of money on it? And he's like, nah, he's like, you know, like maybe like, you know, 20 bucks a day

01:50sometimes, sometimes 40. And I'm thinking, man, that's got to add up. And then I'm like, do you

01:54win? Do you ever win on this game? And he said, well, I won a thousand dollars once and I'm like,

02:00okay. Well, that's awesome. But how much are you losing though? Exactly. I started like putting

02:05something together and it's just like, um, he's out on a date with me. We're out together. I can

02:10completely understand where you're coming from. I mean, the attention was on some video game.

02:14He was playing and not on you, but well, here's the deal. Justin's the one who actually reached

02:18out to us. He couldn't get ahold of you. So he wanted to find out if we could. Uh, so he is actually

02:24on the other line, heard what you had to say. So let's just bring Justin back on. Justin, you there?

02:30Yeah. Yeah. I'm still here, you guys. Okay, Justin. So obviously you heard what Steph had to say.

02:35I mean, it sounds like she was a little bummed out. You guys have this first date and you're,

02:40you're playing a game on your phone. Well, yeah, gambling game. Um, and I've been doing

02:47it for months now. I mean, it's kind of one of those things where it refreshes and you

02:52have to like wait a certain amount of time and then you get like another, uh, go at it

02:56and, um, not a daily thing. And I, I don't really, I don't think I play it that much and

03:00I didn't play it that much when we were on a date. Well, you, she said you were playing

03:03it during the date. Well, I mean, you know, if she like, if, if we were like, I, we were

03:10looking at the menus and I would like, yeah, bring out my phone or she went up to the bathroom

03:14and I bring in my phone and you know, um, I mean, obviously when you say it like that,

03:18it sounds bad, but I, I didn't think I was looking at my phone too often to, you know,

03:23to update the game and to get a couple bets in. All right. I think myself, I, I just kind

03:29of like, you know, I have a busy life as well, but I, I really kind of resigned myself to

03:34keep my stuff on vibrate. And like, it was, I feel like it was, it should have been about

03:39me and him in that time because we were looking forward to this, you know?

03:43Well, yeah. I mean, it was two weeks before you guys even got to have a date. It sounds

03:48like, and then, and then Justin, it sounds like you may have spent a little bit too much

03:51time on your, on your phone doing some, uh, gambling games.

03:54I guess that I was looking at it, um, a bit and you know, it's kind of one of those

03:59things where I just like casually do it. You know, I don't need to pay full attention

04:03to it. You just kind of, you know, click a button, swipe here and there, but it's not,

04:07I mean, I thought it was still attentive.

04:10I'm just concerned because to me, it looks like, it seems like I test my instincts pretty

04:14well. And, and to me, it seems like he's got like a problem with gambling.

04:20I mean, he was playing the game in the middle of a date. I'd say that's a problem.

04:24I don't know what to say. I mean, I, yeah, sure. I, I look at it and I try to, you

04:28know, keep up with it so that I can get the bets in. But I, I didn't think it was

04:33that big of a deal.

04:34Well, Steph, what do you think? If Justin promises maybe to put away his phone, would

04:37you be interested in going out on another date with him?

04:40Um, I mean, like I said, I trust my instincts and, and, and it's, it's not that I don't

04:44think that he's a very attractive and a, and a very kind person and, and has an awesome

04:49voice. I want to listen to him talk on the phone.

04:52So you want to go back out with him again or?

04:54I don't, I don't think that, I don't think that I could overcome that.

04:58Well, Justin, at least now, you know, maybe, uh, you might want to, you know, you're going

05:04to have to put that phone away next time you go out on a date because it can be an issue.

05:08I mean, if one thing a girl wants on a first date, that's, is the person sitting across

05:13from her to pay attention to her.

05:14Yeah. No, uh, I'll take that to heart. I'll try to, um, acknowledge that I should, I should

05:20try.

05:20Well, we got the answers you were looking for, Justin, uh, Stephanie, thanks so much

05:24for coming on the air with us this morning. Sorry guys. We could not make a second date

05:28happen.

05:29Okay. I appreciate you guys working that out. So I don't have my own thinking about not

05:33getting back to him. At least he knows.

05:39Well, I honestly, I don't blame her. I mean, if he's doing that on their very first date, it's

05:44probably only going to get worse.

05:45It is. And, uh, I don't blame her at all either. So, but I'm interested to see what you

05:50think like, is this that big of a deal? Like, is this a deal breaker?

05:54People play games on their phones all the time.

05:56All the time. Yeah.

05:57I mean, it happens in my house, you know, we'll be in the middle of conversations and

06:03Focus is on the phone. He's playing some game and I'm like, hello over here. Um, I'm
