00:00All right, so we're trying to help out Allie this morning in the second date update, commercial-free New Country, 99.5 QIK.

00:06They went to some Mexican restaurant.

00:08Apparently, he was going there after work, and he invited her along.

00:13But while they were there, it sounds like they were talking about going out on a more formal date.

00:17He said that he wanted to take her out to a nice dinner and whatnot.

00:19So they were talking about going out.

00:21So obviously, he likes her because he wouldn't have brought that up if he didn't like her.

00:26So I don't know what's going on, really.

00:29I think something must have happened after the date, maybe a social media thing,

00:32or maybe he ran into her or saw her or found something out about her.

00:35I don't know.

01:41about, that more formal date, but has not been able to get a hold of you.

02:06Basically, we had been talking for a while, and, you know, I wanted to go on a date or

02:12whatever, and I was hoping, like, for a first date, maybe we'd do something more formal or

02:16whatever, but whatever, the day we met, I was at work, and we were talking, and I was

02:20going to go to, there's this place by my work I go to all the time, and they have, like,

02:24a really good happy hour that starts, like, right when I get out of work, so whatever.

02:29So we decided we would meet there and be kind of like an icebreaker before our real first

02:34date or whatever.

02:34Anyways, as the night went on, like I said, it was like this happy hour place.

02:38The first thing she ordered was this $25 margarita with, like, top-shelf liquor and all the fixings

02:46and stuff like that, and that kind of just kept happening as the night went on.

02:50So by the end of the night, we had, like, a $160 bill that was kind of just, I don't want

02:56to say she, I was forced to pay it, but that's kind of how it made me feel, like, oh, thanks

03:02for, she's like, oh, thanks for picking such a cool place.

03:05I had such a great time, but.

03:06Did you pay the bill?

03:07Yeah, I paid the bill.

03:08So I paid a $160 bill for, like, all these expensive drinks and stuff she ordered, and

03:14really, out of that $150, probably only, like, $25 of that was mine.

03:18And so.

03:19Ouch.

03:21I felt like I was really taken advantage of those.

03:23So that was kind of it for me.

03:25Either this is the most expensive happy hour of all time, or she was not ordering off the

03:29happy hour menu.

03:35going to this place after work, because they have a great happy hour, so if you want to

03:38come join me, like, that's cool.

03:39That was kind of, like, the whole point of going to this place in particular.

03:44I understand that you're a little bummed that you had to pay so much money, and only

03:48$25 of it was yours, but you did say that you were going to take her out on a nicer

03:52date, so, I mean, you were going to spend this money at some point, right?
