00:29When it comes to just coffee, I love it black, but I do like a good latte.

00:36I got a latte this morning, vanilla, and I have no shame ordering them anymore because I like what I like.

00:40Hey, look, I like an oatmeal latte. It just goes hard. So good.

00:45But if I'm ordering a coffee, I don't do cream or sugar. I just do it black.

00:48So you're like kind of collaboration king right now, in my opinion.

00:52You got Morgan Wallen, John Langston.

00:54When you're getting in and you're learning that you're going to be working with a new artist,

00:57is there, are you like, well, I got to get to know him first?

01:00It's like a first date? Or are these guys you've known before?

01:02I've known John for 11 or 12 years, it seems like.

01:06So we've been very close friends for a very long time.

01:09So that was a no-brainer. That was super easy.

01:11He just sent me the song and said, do you want to do this with me?

01:13I said, hell yeah.

01:14And, yeah, you know, I've known Morgan for probably five-ish years, give or take.

01:20And, man, I mean, he's freaking Elvis, dude.

01:23I mean, it's just crazy.

01:25And I was just so thankful to have a song on that project.

01:28I mean, the entire project is so good.

01:30I think every song is amazing and it sounds good.

01:33And it was a blessing to be on there, you know.

01:35And, man, he crushed it.

01:36I mean, just the cut sounded amazing.

01:39And, I mean, it's a song that, like, I mean, it's a really sad, heartbreak country song.

01:46And I just appreciate and love that he was like, no, I'm cutting this thing, you know.

01:50And I think a lot of people would be like, ah, it's too slow and depressing, you know.

01:53And so I was thankful for that.

01:54You know when they send you a song like that and it's kind of slow and heartbreaking,

01:57do you expect an upbeat song or are you just kind of going with an open mind?

02:00Man, I just try and, I mean, as somebody who's been on the other side of the table as a songwriter

02:06of getting, you know, pitching songs, dude, you've got to listen to everything with an open mind.

02:12And especially, I think if you listen to that first verse and first chorus, you have to do that.

02:16And if it still hits you and moves you, you know, then it means something.

02:20So, dude, I think these days people just, they just want to connect to something.

02:24And right now it kind of is those songs, which is great.

02:27I think it's wonderful.
