Another day well spent with the fantastic crew at Karma Cat Zen Dog Rescue Society!   We talked about upcoming merch events and fundraisers, and a unique way to get your name featured on a townhouse or condo at the Milltown Adoption Center!

00:06Dog Rescue Society it is our monthly kitty corner video I'm Debbie Mazzella

00:11so much to get to in this video so much to talk about and lots of adorable

00:15adoptables we're going to begin with upcoming events which is going to be on

00:19June 4th at Asbury Park Pride June 10th it is pause for celebration in East

00:24Brunswick and tickets are still available and then June 17th it is back

00:29to the shore in Ocean Grove for the giant craft fair and all the info for these

00:33events and to buy tickets for pause for celebration is here at magic983.com on

00:38the kitty corner page and we can link you up to Karmacat Zen Dog Rescue Society so

00:42we're going to talk to you about a unique sponsorship opportunity for you and we're

00:46going to turn it over to Janine and she's going to tell you all about it so not

00:49only can you be a sponsor at pause for celebration if you want to be a sponsor

00:54every day of the year you can now sponsor a townhouse or a apartment that will be

01:02on-site at our adoption center so every time someone goes to visit a cat they'll

01:07see your name so it's pretty straightforward just contact us and for a monthly

01:12donation you can be a sponsor for a townhouse or an apartment at our adoption

01:17center and the sponsorship opportunities are very reasonable and your name as you

01:22can see here will go right there so everybody that comes to the Mac Center

01:26here in Milltown will know that you are sponsoring where the featured cats are

01:31spending their time until they find their forever home we got lots to talk about

01:35like I said so we are going to turn it over to Leanne looking for volunteers so as

01:40always we can constantly use new volunteers to join our Ohana or family as we

01:46call it if you are here and you've got some morning our availability 8 a.m. to 9 30 every

01:52day we would love to have you join our morning cleaners if you're also like no

01:57I'd rather just play with some cats and have a good time great we have some

02:01socializing ships that are available as well if you have a niche talent if you are

02:05into social media can manage those account for us post content if you're like I'm a

02:10really great writer and I would love for you to get some grants so we can

02:13absolutely use your help there or even more if you are a fundraising rock star

02:19can bring in those dollars can have people open their wallets we would love

02:23to have you join as well as we continue to help raise funds to keep our rescue

02:28up and running and I would say last but not least if you've got some really cool

02:31crafting abilities whether that be crocheting or if you've got a cricket or

02:36maybe you are a seamstress or have a hidden talent we'd be happy to have you as

02:40well to join our merchandise and craft team to sell our merch and when Leanne

02:45said cricket she didn't mean like the bug crickets because the cats would

02:49immediately squish them and we would get nowhere she was talking about crafting

02:53opportunities and we have photos of the merch that's available and it's

02:57absolutely adorable so if you have any talent at all in that department they can

03:01certainly use you so of course what does everybody watch these videos for the

03:05adorable adoptables so we are gonna turn it over to Gina Dwyer and she's gonna get you up

03:10close and personal with two of the very cool cats looking for their forever home

03:15this is Sam Adams he's one of our featured adoptables he is named after the

03:21beer he's super fun he has one requirement and that is that he has to be your

03:28one and only kitty he's not a big fan of other cats but he'll fill your home with so

03:33much love that you won't miss having other cats if you have Sam in your life

03:37and this is Harlow she is another one of our featured adaptables this month she's a

03:44little shy but she's extremely extremely sweet she has the softest black and white

03:50fur and a very calm chill personality and super duper affectionate so you just met Sam

03:59Adams and Harlow but there's some other cats looking for their forever home so

04:02we're gonna turn it back over to Gina and she's gonna tell you about them in

04:05addition to Sam Adams and Harlow we also have Mandu who is 11 years old Mandu is a

04:12boy he is orange and white and he's diabetic but it's easily managed with

04:18medication and we'll give you all the info that you need to know if you're

04:22interested in adopting him we also have Buckley he's an eight-year-old orange and

04:26white male he is a little on the shy side but our volunteers are working with

04:31him every day to build his confidence and he's right here at the adoption

04:35center as well you could come here and meet him if you wanted to and those are

04:38featured adoptables for the month if you're interested in any of them click

04:49want to say that all the girls here on the video today are experts at

04:52socializing but Gina Sam Adams will only come out of his townhouse for Gina so

04:58she is the expert socializer and we turn to her to get all the cats to come out

05:03of their shell so they can eventually find their forever home we thank you so
