Cat Adoptions, Fundraisers, And Volunteer Opportunities

Our latest Kitty Corner video features adorable adoptables, the fantastic volunteers of Karma Cat Rescue Society, and lots of fundraisers that you can be a part of!

00:00hey it's Debbie Mazzella thank you so much for watching our brand new kitty

00:07corner video here at magic983.com and we got so much to talk to you about as we

00:14always do and of course adorable adoptables at the end of the video and

00:18throughout and we're going to start off as we always do talking about upcoming

00:22events and one of my favorite events that Karmiket does every year is the

00:27wine tasting and it is coming up on August 17th at cream Ridge winery you got

00:32to say that three times fast it's a tongue twister but it's gonna be noon to

00:366 that day magic 98.3 is gonna be on site and it's gonna be featuring some tarot

00:41card readings and yoga and of course the wine tasting and a whole bunch of other

00:46fun events so we've extended it for the afternoon so you can come by anytime and

00:52you can buy your tickets by going to Karmiket's website and we got the link

00:56right here on the kitty corner page so you can buy your tickets and join us on

00:59August 17th one of the biggest events that they do throughout the year is

01:03clear the shelters and that is coming up in September and we're gonna have more

01:07information on that as we get into our next video and in the next couple of

01:12weeks we're so excited we want to help them find homes for deserving animals and

01:16the last thing that we want to talk to you about is the black cat bash and that is

01:22going to be super fun it is coming up October 19th and you know a lot of

01:26people say that black cats are bad luck but they are not they are mini house

01:30panthers and this is going to be a fun event too so we got lots to talk about

01:34today we are going to turn it over to Shannon so that she can tell you all

01:39about how you can support Karmiket even if you can't volunteer at the rescue you

01:44can do it in other ways and all the funds obviously stay here at the Mac Center in

01:49Milltown and help animals to find deserving homes so we're going to turn

01:53it over to Shannon thanks Debbie so a way that you can sponsor a townhouse or an

01:57apartment is with a monthly donation that would be a great way to help us out

02:02here at Karmiket another way you can help us out is with our kitten shower it's

02:05running all summer long you can check out our social media you could check out

02:09our wish list and then you can also check out the link below as always we are in

02:13need of volunteers so if you want to help out either from our adoption center or

02:17from home we've got lots of opportunities for you to help we are

02:21looking for people to help clean the facilities here at the adoption center

02:25which means coming in to feed the kitties make sure everything is looking

02:29right scooping litter getting some snuggles in while you're here we need

02:33help with fundraising and events which can be done completely from home if you're

02:37interested it's great for everybody who's allergic to cats but still wanting

02:41to help out we also need help with our merchandising and crafting teams if you can

02:47crochet so if you can attend events and help to sell all the merchandise we would

02:54be more than happy to have you join our team and as always we always need fosters

02:59right now as you may know all of the shelters and all of the rescues are really

03:05really limited on space there is just there are too many animals out there for

03:09us all to handle and one of the best ways to help combat that problem is to

03:14foster an animal in your home for a couple of weeks before they get adopted so if

03:18you're interested please click the link below fill out an application to foster

03:24we would be very grateful to have your help with that and last but not least we

03:29have our featured adoptables for this month we have Susie who is a six-year-old

03:33brown female tabby she loves snuggling and being next to you love sleeping in sunny

03:39windows but she is independent and would do best as an only cat and another cat

03:44that would also do best as an only cat is our other featured adoptable Maddie

03:48she's three years old she is a tuxedo female but she's super sweet she's super

03:54calm but she can get a little bit overstimulated so it would be best if she

03:59stayed in a quiet home and then our other featured adoptable is our last senior

04:03remaining in our graduating class her name is Tori she's a 12 year old white

04:09tabby and she's just super sweet she'll lay on your lap she'll cuddle with you

04:14she's just a sweetheart and last but not least for featured adoptables this month

04:19we have Athena who is a four-year-old tuxedo girl she loves treats she loves

04:24being pet she is also one who would do best as the queen of the castle in her own

04:28home without other animals so those are our featured adoptables this month thanks
