00:12We've got Stephanie on the phone who is honoring her mother-in-law, Karen, today.

00:15Good morning, Stephanie. How are you doing?

00:17Good morning. I'm doing good.

00:19Well, listen, we are excited to honor your mother-in-law, and I think it's very cool that you are doing that as well.

00:24Now, she's a single mother of five, right?

00:27Yes. She is a single mother of five, and she did lose her son a couple years ago.

00:32One son, so she has four living and one passed away.

00:36Oh, okay. I'm sorry to hear that.

00:37And what does she do as a first responder? How does she serve our community?

00:41She is a charge nurse.

00:42All right. Just so for people that don't know, what is a charge nurse?

00:46Well, I hope I'm explaining it the right way, but she's in charge of all the other nurses.

00:50She's kind of like the lead of her four.

00:52Got it. And how long has she been doing that?

00:54Over 15 years.

00:57Wow. Now, you know her very well, obviously, being your mother-in-law.

01:00What do you think it is about her qualities or whatever that makes her great at her job?

01:06Everything. Her personality is amazing.

01:09She could be going through the worst of times, and she will still have a smile on her face,

01:14and she'll treat you with nothing but respect, and it's amazing.

01:18Now, talk about your guys' relationship, because I'll be honest with you.

01:21We don't get a lot of people honoring their mother-in-laws, so it's good to talk to you, Stephanie.

01:26I know. You hear a lot of horror stories about mother-in-laws.

01:29Well, you know, I hate to play into the stereotype, but I'm just saying we don't get a lot of them.

01:33But I do want to hear about your guys' relationship.

01:35No, I definitely hit the jackpot with her.

01:38She is truly a blessing.

01:40She has always been there 110%.

01:42If I need her, I can call her.

01:45She's there for my kids.

01:47I have three kids, and she is the best Nana you could even ask for.

01:51So I definitely am blessed and truly thankful for her.

01:54I love that, and I love you calling us to honor her.
