00:00Thank y'all very much. So, as y'all can probably tell already, my redneck normally comes out at functions.
00:11And so, I'm going to give y'all a little back story on this next song.
00:17It's called Better Off Fishing.
00:20And I was talking to this girl, we were dating, and I took the day off,
00:26and I was supposed to hang out with her, but I ended up going fishing.
00:30And she was livid.
00:32And she called me, and we were just going back and forth at it, back and forth, back and forth.
00:39And she said, well, are you going to at least come see me tonight?
00:42And I thought about it for a second, and I said, baby, I'll be honest, honey,
00:47I think I'm better off staying out here.
00:49I'm probably better off fishing than coming to see you tonight,
00:52because we would just argue and argue.
00:54And, you know, she was mad to begin with,
00:58but whenever I started posting those fish pictures on Instagram and Facebook
01:02is when she really, really got mad.
01:06And we ended up breaking up.
01:09And I wrote a song about it called Better Off Fishing.
