02:29It is Chuck the Freak and James, of course, from Dave and Chuck the Freak, and it's time for
02:34Two Guys, One Video Game.
02:36This time, we're gonna review The Walking Dead Video Game.
02:39So, this game is basically, it's kind of like a graphic novel.
02:46You want to hold it, zombie?
02:47It's a graphic novel that they kind of turn into a video game.
02:52It's really how it feels.
02:53No eating the video game.
02:54They'll eat the video game if you let a zombie have it.
02:57It's like a choose-your-own-adventure video game version.
03:03What did you think of the game?
03:04I actually liked the game.
03:06I didn't mind it.
03:07I got into the story, and then I just, I found myself, it would be, next thing I know, it
03:13would be an hour and a half went by, and I've been playing this video game, not really
03:19doing a lot of action stuff.
03:20Now, I did have some complaints about the game, namely, you'd walk around and have to
03:28click on things, and if you clicked on something, it might start a cutscene.
03:32Well, I must have clicked on the same thing, like making a mistake three or four times, and
03:37I have to watch the same cutscene over and over again.
03:41That was kind of annoying.
03:42I wish they had something where I could have cancelled out of a cutscene.
03:45Like, hey, I've seen this, bam, hit B, and then I can just continue on with the story.
03:48They didn't have that, though.
03:49You know what you mean.
03:50And I also feel like the game is more catered to be played on a PC.
03:53Like, you move the mouse around to click on the different objects to find out if you
03:58could, like, grab them or look at them, and I felt like it wasn't really the best option
04:03or the best way to do the things on Xbox.
04:06For me, I didn't care for the game.
04:08I didn't like it.
04:09I felt too restricted when I played it.
04:12I'm more into, like, the free world.
04:14I can roam around like Grand Theft Auto or Dead Rising.
04:18To me, I found that to be a little funner of a game to play in the realm of zombies.
04:23And I also felt like the game felt like that season of The Walking Dead where nothing happened,
04:28and then all of a sudden one cool thing happens, and a zombie that they've been searching for
04:33pops out of a farm.
04:34Yeah, I also found that a lot of the times when you were searching around and you had
04:39to use your thumbstick, but then it was the same thumb that you were supposed to then
04:45hit the A button with at the same time.
04:47Yeah, yeah.
04:48And I was like, they didn't really think the controls out too well because you can't.
04:53I discovered if you pulled the trigger, it basically did the same thing as A button.
04:57Oh, that's a great little trick.
04:58I didn't know that.
04:58But they never told you that, so.
05:01And you had to choose the dialogue, like, what your answers are going to be, the questions.
05:04And sometimes I feel like the answers made no sense to what they're asking or what's being
05:09talked about.
05:10And then they put you under the gun, so you have a certain time amount to choose your
05:14answer.
05:14And I feel like I kept choosing the wrong answer.
05:16Like, I didn't have enough time to decide, here's what I want to say, what are we talking
05:20about.
05:21So I didn't really care for that.
05:22Did it feel like to you they just said, well, we're allowed to say the F word, and we're
05:27just going to say it every sentence?
05:29That is how it felt.
05:30So it's definitely, it's not a kid's game.
05:32That's for sure.
05:33And not because it's scary, it's the language.
05:35Yeah, the language was really, really bad.
05:38It was like working here.
05:41They nailed the look of The Walking Dead.
05:44It looks just like you're watching, like, a graphic novel come to life.
05:47Yeah.
05:47That part was cool.
05:48But for me, there wasn't enough action.
05:49And it was just, I felt too restricted.
05:52I think this will be the first game I'll ever play that I could probably get 100, whoa,
05:56whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

05:58Zombies with axes.
05:58We don't need that.

06:00This is probably the one game I could probably beat and get 100% completed on.
06:04Yeah, I agree.
06:05Because you're just going through the story.
06:06Yeah.
06:06So that was cool to actually be able to do that.
