00:00One Detroit man was trying to break into his own house during that flooding yesterday

00:13and actually got stuck hanging upside down for 13 hours as the floodwaters in his basement

00:20were rising towards his head.

00:23The story now from Channel 4 about what happened to this guy.

00:31Detroit Fire Department.

00:32He's going off to the hospital to get checked out.

00:34Now, here's what happened.

00:35Police thought that he was a burglar breaking into this home.

00:37Turns out he lives here.

00:38His neighbor got a call.

00:42That's when he found his neighbor in this precarious position.

00:45And I guess when he climbed through, the window caught his feet and he was upside down.
