00:05Spencer Arrighetti against Bailey Ober. That's today. Tomorrow is the better matchup maybe of

00:12the two. Ronel Blanco against Chris Paddock. Paddock not great also, his first time out.

00:18Twins fans a little frustrated, George, like Pirates fans a little bit. I feel like Twins

00:22are going to be better than the Pirates, by the way. I think they're a little frustrated too.

00:26It's kind of like, feels like a little going through the motions a little bit. And then,

00:30of course, you know, players getting injured out for them again. Second straight year,

00:35Royce Lewis out. But I think Houston is probably the better team and probably

00:40has the better pitching matchups, is it fair to say, on both sides here?

00:45I mean, Arrighetti, Ober, I guess you can make an argument is even. I would probably rather have

00:49Blanco and Paddock. Paddock, I think I expected more out of. We haven't really gotten it yet.

00:54Are the Twins being sold, right? Are they trying to be sold? I think they are. I think one of that

01:01explains why they didn't do anything in the offseason. You didn't add anybody. All right.

01:05Just strange for a team that's really been in the playoff mix. I mean, I know they seem to

01:08get eliminated by the Yankees every year, but they've been in the playoff mix year after year

01:12after year. It's not a great division, right? Cleveland sort of took a step back to the trades

01:15they made. All right. Detroit and Kansas City are upcoming, but the Twins aren't behind these

01:19teams. They're all about even, and yet they did nothing. Now, the Royce Lewis thing, I mean,

01:26if I'm a Twins fan, I mean, you had to live through Buxton, right? A superstar, but can't

01:30stay healthy at all. And now Lewis is looking like he's following that same path. He's a really good

01:36player, really good young player, but he can't stay healthy one little bit. So it's going to be

01:42demoralizing a little bit. Yeah. All right. We've got the Padres taking on the Cubs. Should be a

01:48fun competitive series this weekend at Wrigley Field. Nick Pavetta looked fantastic for the

01:53Padres in his first start. He'll face Matthew Boyd today. And then I think you probably flip

01:59around the favorite here with Kyle Hart facing off against Ben Brown on Sunday with the Cubs,

02:05George, but really good sign for the Padres with Pavetta. Padres are playing great. The pitching

02:10has been great too. Pavetta's bounced around the league now the last few years, but always shows

02:16like, Oh, like, is this going to be the year? Like a promise? He did finally did it last year,

02:21got paid on it. Maybe it's just legit. Maybe he's just going to have another good year with San

02:25Diego. I think he will. He's a guy. I think I mentioned a couple of times on this show where

02:30all the shows that I was surprised he didn't get a bigger contract. I think, you know, starting

02:34pitching is a dirt to starting pitching throughout baseball yet. People didn't see the one or dying

02:38for him and he signed, I don't want to say about team friendly deal, but I thought he could have

02:42better deal than what he got with San Diego. So yeah, I think Pavetta is, uh, I say he's not

02:46schoolboy. He's not Zach Wheeler, you know, he's not nice SP three. So yeah, I kind of like, uh,

02:50Pavetta certainly like him today against Boyd Hart Brown tomorrow. I mean, uh, okay. Not exactly the,

02:57uh, marquee pitching match up there. We'll see how that works out. I think I saw Ben Brown last

03:00year against the Mets. That didn't go well for him. So, uh, I don't, I think there'll be a more

03:04run scored in tomorrow's game than there will be in today's. All right. Diamondbacks and nationals.

03:10My God. I mean, I cannot believe that our producer, Sam actually, uh, has a nationals.

03:16Uh, I don't want to say a mistake, but you know, a graphic that's not going to, I mean, shocking

03:22to see. Yeah, it is shocking to see this. I can't believe it because Sam, our producer is such a big

03:26fan. I would have thought that he would have given us the replacement for Michael Sirocco,

03:30who's going on the injured list here, but he did not. That's that's shame on me. I know,

03:36but don't put Sirocco there. He's not pitching. He's on the IL and water Rodriguez,

03:41but he's out. He's on the IL. It can't be. Oh, it's all the graphic. Wow. Okay. The graphic does,

03:50but George, George doesn't see the rundown here. It says Sirocco and water Rodriguez against

03:55Mitchell Parker. I mean, he makes zero mistakes like in a year. And then this one, it's like,

04:02I just know that I know that the guy's not starting. Is it Strasburg? Corbin Burns starts

04:08Sunday. Who do we know? Sam, come on. You know, the national better than me.

04:15Brad Lord, who is that? Corbin Burns is going to beat Washington Sunday. So the question is,

04:21is it water? Rodriguez is going to beat Mitchell, but I like Mitchell Parker. I think he's okay,

04:24but his water Rodriguez is going to beat Mitch. If that's the case, the Washington is going to

04:27start off one and eight. Well, they're not being Corbin Burns, right? So, you know,

04:33we know that's a lost era. I mean, you hate to see that they're going to get swept up,

04:37but I'd wonder Rodriguez is better than Parker as well, but listen, I'll tell you, I guess that

04:42could play an effect here still. I mean, I, I certainly wouldn't be betting on Washington.

04:46They're not playing well. Dylan Cruz is not hitting until the Abrams and what James Wood

04:50can give you. We've got the Dodgers Phillies, this Epic series that has started in Phillies

04:56look great too, by the way, all of a sudden it just took them beating the Dodgers once for

04:59everybody to say, you know, Phillies are legit. Sasaki will start, get a look at him and Aaron

05:06Nola will start for the Phillies. And then Sunday it's glass now in Sanchez, probably the best

05:10series of the weekend. Absolutely here with Sasaki. It's all about, can he, can he hit the

05:16strikes and with the secondary pitches, right? That's been the problem. All his offensive pitches,

05:20he cannot throw a strike in the team's notes. So they're laying off it and he's going three and two

05:24in every batter. So Saki is going to be fine, but he needs to hit the strike zone.
