00:00Let's talk Corniche and first off, how did it feel when you got the call to take him?

00:09Well, I mean, those are, you know, great situations on one hand and also, you know, that you're

00:16inheriting a task that is going to be difficult.

00:20So the horse ran terrific for Bob and, you know, so you just hope that you can continue

00:27to continue on that successful trend that the horse has had.

00:31He's always been a very laid-back horse and I've seen a lot of him.

00:34What have you seen from him?

00:36Yeah, we've seen the same, he is laid-back, he's not an overzealous workhorse and the

00:41thing that I've seen that what he's doing for us seems consistent with what we saw in

00:47the videos that he was doing before running in the Breeders' Cup and when he was training

00:52for Bob.

00:53On the whole, is it fair to say he's a little on the relaxed side?

00:58Yeah, for sure.

00:59He's all good to be around, to ride and around the store, not a whole lot bothers him.

01:08Watching him in the barn and talking to Amelia and Sophie, it seems like he's quite a ham

01:12and quite the personality around the barn.

01:15What have you seen from him?

01:16Yeah, no, I mean, from a training perspective, he's very straightforward, you know, he's

01:21professional, he doesn't give you any issues, he's well-behaved around the barn, on the

01:27racetrack, in the gate, the paddock and all those things, pretty straightforward, so he's

01:32pretty laid-back personality around the barn and it seems like everyone kind of takes to

01:37him.

01:38How happy were you not to get the one-hole?

01:39It was one of those races I just felt like, before they even drew it, I just knew I'd

01:44pick the overnight up and he'd draw one, but fortunately, we drew a favorable post outside

01:49and it gave him a little chance to break and get his legs underneath him and I would

01:53imagine it would be forwardly placed, but it kind of gives us some options.

01:56How do you separate your two in there?

01:59Well, my Prankster is a very consistent, reliable horse, he shows up as well every time.

02:03His best race happened to be here in Saratoga, but Cornish is a champion coming in, so probably

02:10up to say that he's got a little stronger credentials, but my Prankster is a solid citizen

02:15himself.
