00:00With just over a week out until Belmont weekend, we stopped by the Brad Cox barn at Churchill

00:07Downs to visit with their three Belmont contenders, as well as Champion Caravelle, who put in

00:12her final work ahead of the grade one jiper.

00:17Angel of Empire, he's obviously third in the Kentucky Derby, he's doing great.

00:21He's going to breech here on Saturday and then chip on Monday.

00:23All of our Belmont horses are going on Monday evening.

00:26He's had two good works since the Kentucky Derby, excited about getting him around a

00:30mile and a half.

00:31I think he has more to show.

00:32I think he's a horse that, you know, we always thought he would get better the more he does

00:36it based off pedigree and his physical.

00:38And he has.

00:39His numbers in his life, his number in the Kentucky Derby went forward.

00:42He's had five weeks to recover from that number.

00:45And you know, from a physical standpoint, he seems to be continuing to develop.

00:50And I love what we've seen from him in his two works.

00:53He's another one that always gallops out well.

00:55Probably the best part of his works is, you know, around the second turn, he just continues

00:59to, you know, want to gallop out up the back sats.

01:01So, you know, excited about, you know, giving him the opportunity going that far.

01:07Hit show, thought ran a really good race in the Kentucky Derby, was fifth.

01:10Got a good trip actually from the one hull, you know, excited about him going a mile and

01:15a half as well.

01:16He's had some success at Aqueduct, you know, Niagara Track.

01:19You know, they seem to be just a little bit deeper and sandier.

01:24So, you know, he was capable of getting through Aqueduct where hopefully he can get through

01:27the Belmont Track.

01:29Manny Franco come back and thought, you know, mentioned the Belmont right away.

01:31So, you know, he could be a horse that could move forward in the Belmont.

01:34So that's exciting.

01:35And then we're going to give Tappett Shusen an opportunity at a mile and a half.

01:40He's by Tappett, which is obviously everyone knows that, you know, those horses do perform

01:43well a mile and a half on the dirt.

01:45He was second, just narrowly defeated in the Bathrow Stakes at Oaklawn.

01:51And, you know, another one that he's a half to Cyberknife.

01:54He seems to be getting better the more he does it.

01:56He's had plenty of time to recover from that.

01:58He took a move forward in that race and in the Bathrow House Stakes and, you know, I

02:04think he obviously has to take another move forward and, you know, I'm hoping that he

02:08will.

02:09Caravelle just breezed here on the dirt, a really good move from her on the dirt.

02:13She's a good workhorse all around.

02:14I had her in 49 flat, good gallop out.

02:16We've obviously turned our attention toward the Jiper.

02:19She'll ship on Monday as well, super happy with her.

02:22She had a big run there at Belmont last year in the Intercontinental, so we're going to

02:25see if we can do it again this year, only against the boys in a grade one.

02:29You know, she's obviously capable of that, having won the Breeders' Cup and, you know,

02:34we think she's really doing well right now.

02:37She physically looks amazing.

02:38She's happy.

02:39Once again, she had a move here on the turf last week.

02:42We opted to breeze on the dirt, just with the scheduling and shipping and everything

02:45and happy with the way she looks and how she's moving.
