00:04you about some of the stories that are making the headlines in our print

00:07edition which is on sale now. Grangemouth Hall Air John Mitchell Ltd which

00:12employs around 200 people has been acquired by one of the UK's biggest

00:16privately owned logistics companies. We've got all the latest on what could

00:20be affected when councillors meet to agree this year's budget. There are

00:24concerns that education services and nurseries could be affected with charges

00:29for services also likely to rise and the council also revealed this week that

00:34there was a £1 million overspend on the extension built at

00:38crisis-hit Madison Primary School. A pensioner has claimed that Falkirk

00:44Council changed the rules midway through the process after he was told there

00:47needed to be a unanimous agreement of tenants to get repairs carried out in a

00:51block of flats. We've all our usual court roundup including the story of the

00:56motorist caught with drugs in his underwear. There was good news for seven

01:01local businesses who picked up trophies in this year's Scottish Wedding Awards.

01:06It may have been the Oscars a few days ago but for Larbert schoolgirl Lily

01:10McGuire she's looking forward to her red carpet date when the premiere of the

01:15short film she starred in takes place at the weekend. Family and friends of

01:20tragic teen boxer Scott Martin plan to climb the Kelpies to raise funds for the

01:24foundation set up in his memory and Strathcairn Hospice is inviting us all

01:29to take part in its big birthday tea party to start baking the cakes. We've

01:34lots of faces in this week's paper including the pupils from Bonehouse

01:38Primary School who formed this year's Grangemouth Children's Day retinue, the

01:42swim marathon organised by the Rotary Club of Falkirk as well as pictures from

01:46their recent centenary ball and the crowds and stars who attended the

01:50Shooting Stars event at Falkirk Stadium in aid of Alzheimer's Scotland.
