00:00But I wasn't dismissing the Knicks way back in October because the team just got together.

00:04These last two losses for the Knicks, head-to-head against the Celtics, 131-104 on February 8th,

00:09and then this one last night, or yesterday rather, I mean, they've had the whole year

00:14to gel, we're past the trade deadline, there's no reinforcements coming, like, this is what

00:18they are, and they've gotten smoked again.

00:22So yeah, the Knicks are not for real, and I thought the real competition in the East

00:26was New York and Cleveland, well, cross New York off the list, it's just Cleveland, if

00:30it even is Cleveland, and I don't really even know that I believe they're a real threat

00:34to the Celtics.

00:35So I don't think they're a threat, I think that would be the toughest series to this

00:38point, they've played really well, so I'm not going to ignore them, although we've seen

00:41teams have the number one seed in the Eastern Conference in years past that weren't really

00:45truly title contenders, like the Al Horford Hawks had some really good regular seasons,

00:51and that might be kind of what the calves are right now.

00:54Travis Thomas was in for you on Friday, he's still not ruling out the Bucs, to which I

00:59am.

01:00I would rule them out.

01:01That's what I said, I go, they got Doc Rivers coaching.

01:02But he's saying, like, Giannis and Lillard are both obviously great players, but I still

01:06don't see it, or I mean, I see the fact that they're great players, but Giannis has, like,

01:11zero killer instinct, and like, now that he won, I don't think he cares that much, Lillard

01:16doesn't seem to be a great fit with them, and then they now have to go to Kyle Kuzma

01:21as their third guy.

01:22It's not a failure, it's steps to success.

01:25Like, I guess, what a horrible quote, what a horrible quote that is.

01:29I hate that loser comment, when that's a guy who's won, you know, he went out, he won a

01:33championship, and now he's not apparently motivated to do it anymore, because that is

01:36a loser comment.

01:37Bobby Portis is suspended, they traded Chris Middleton that I didn't like, no, the Bucs

01:41aren't a threat.

01:42No, they're not.

01:43So it's really Cleveland, and I don't even believe in Cleveland, like, I'm with you,

01:45like, they probably give the Celtics the best series, maybe they make it five or six games,

01:50If the Knicks are not going to compete with the Celtics, and it looks like they're not,

01:53well then, punch the ticket to the NBA Finals, I mean, that's how I feel about it.

01:56And the worst news for the Cavs is they'll have home court in that series, which against

01:59the Celtics, you don't want.

02:02The Celtics are road warriors, you don't want to face the Celtics.

02:08But yeah, like, Indiana, Detroit, those are the other teams that are in the top six in

02:11the Eastern Conference, and we talked about during the trade deadline how a lot of the

02:15top talent sort of got shipped out.
